Have you ever been in a situation where you meet someone for the first time, you tell a joke and you guys laugh and now you're just staring at each other awkwardly and you say something else and they agree and it's a repeating cycle. Well, this chapter we i'm going to teach you how to fill in those silent gaps and fill them in with conversation. Step 1- DON'T LET THERE BE A QUIET PART IN A CONVERSATION. The meaning of conversation is a talk. The opposite of talk is silent. The synonym for silent is quiet. You are doing the opposite of what you're supposed to do in a conversation. You can fill in the awkward space with absolutely anything. Talk about the weather if all I care just make sure there is no quiet part in the conversation. If there are too many awkward parts like 2 or more then the conversation will end and not only will you not get a conversation but you might also come off as bad traits and lose an opportunity to have a new friend. If you read the other chapters then here are some tips on filling in the space. Say what you want and be confident in what you say. People love confidence (not cockiness) and it's a good first impression to have and to input in conversations.
