Chapter 6 🦋

Petal's P O V
When we reached my house again, the rain had stopped, thank God,
He looked over at me and said '' Take out your keys now Angel" then got out and opened my door,  he helped me out after he saw I had done what he asked, then he took out my groceries and walked me to door, he took my keys from my hand and opened the door, kicked off his shoes and walked to the kitchen with the shopping bags  like he owned the  damn place!,
I followed after him to see him putting the cold stuff in the fridge,

 Shyly looking him in the eye for the first time on my own " Thanks for picking me up and helping Maddox" walking towards him then as he was holding down to place the milks in the fridge I placed a quick kiss on his cheek making him freeze, I don't know if it was because I made eye contact or because I grew lady balls and kissed his cheek, oh well..I thought

I giggled a little at that and went to the bags with the dry goods and started placing my other stuff in the pantry thingy, I looked over my shoulder and saw him looking at me with a look that I couldn't decipher what it was,

He turned and continued to place the cold groceries in the fridge with a small smirk on his face,after a while we were finally done, Maddox sat on the couch with a huff and switched on the TV while I tried to figure out what to cook for lunch when I realized I was thinking to hard about it I asked him what he wanted to which he replied "Whatever you do is fine Angel" I rolled my eyes and said "If I knew I wouldn't ask you so help me" walking to the couch, "how about we have sandwiches and then we could have a big dinner later'' he said finally looking away from the TV, I suddenly gasped which caused him to look at me with a raised eyebrow,

"How about we have dinner with Evie,Medic and your other biker friends?" I asked with a pout, 
" No Angel" he said looking back at the TV, I frowned and folded my arms,
"But Whyyyy?" I said still frowning with my brows furrowed,
"Cause they're unnecessarily loud and annoying, come on don't do that face baby girl" He said looking over to see me pouting and making puppy eyes at him, i'm gonna have friends over..i thought
"Pleaseee Maddox" I said making my eyes extra sad and big while pouting even more,he cursed,
"Ahh fuck it, Fine but stop making that cute face" I mentally threw a party but I only said a little "yay" then I reached to get my phone from the table to call Evie but he stopped me and said "I already had Tech send over the message and I also told him to bring some beers and some wine" I sighed,

"okay.... so now all I have to do is decide what to prepare dinner for 10 huge guys and my boss and actually make it taste good...what was I thinking " now realizing what I did,
Maddox chuckled at my slightly flustered behavior "It's okay baby,i'm sure they'll love whatever you cook,you're an amazing baker and chef" he said while rubbing my arm, I felt butterflies in my stomach from his touch..A bit childish of me but that's how it felt OKAY?, he grinned when he felt me shivered,
I got up from the couch to put some distance between me and the blonde biker and then I looked at the clock on the wall and realized it was already 2:20 welp time sure flew.. I thought then I told him i'm going to start dinner since they were going to be here for 7 then I rushed to the kitchen, washing my hands then pulling my pots and pans along with the ingredients  for a Baked penne pasta with homemade garlic bread and a strawberry cheesecake for dessert from the refrigerator and pantry and setting them on the island,  

(just imagine a bigger white island okay? but this is petal's kitchen)

I heard him walking into the kitchen," do you need help baby?" he said going into fridge, I thought about it for a minute and told him,

"sure just cut up those sweet peppers and onions for me'' he looked around for a bit then I realized I didn't tell him where the cutting boards and knives were so I got them and gave him, he washed his hands and the ingredients and did as I asked him 

After about an hour and half probably two due to Capo's touchy-feelie behavior time was wasted but the baked pasta was done and the homemade garlic bread was in the oven and In mixing the ingredients for the cheesecake,

"Capo can you crush these for me please" I asked giving him the graham crackers I had on the island, he did it and handed them to me I got the biggest sized spring form pan I had and a bowl which I placed the now crushed crackers and melted butter in mixed them then some parchment paper in the bottom and to the sides, then the crackers and patted them into the shape of the pan and then my mixture and placed it into the oven for a little bit with a water bath(a roasting pan filled with water)( I would have made it a no bake but we're running low on time here people and that shit takes hella long) and then I got the strawberries from the fridge, washed and started to cut them in halves vertically putting them in a bowl when done and checked the time, oh no it was 4:55 already, I took the garlic bread out and left it cool on a blue cooling rack,

"Capo" i called out, he appeared by the door "Yes baby girl?" he said with a raised eyebrow, "Set the table for me, the plates are in the cupboard above the sink and you know where the utensils are right?" I asked, 
He looked at me amused then at his phone and laughed "Baby girl it's only 4:56 relax, go take a look at the gift I bought for you on your bed,take a shower, I'll keep check on your dessert in the oven okay? now go" he said pushing me in the direction of my room, I entered my room with a sigh and began to take off my clothes then I hopped in the shower, 
After I finished wash my body and exited the bathroom and finally looked at the gift on the bed,it was a cute gold chain with a M and P on it , I loved it so much, I picked out an outfit quickly from the closet it  was a cute maroon cropped hoodie with a pair of black ripped jeans and my tennis shoes( since we were eating outside on the deck), I liked it because it was simple,cute and comfortable when I threw on the clothing and did my hair into a curly pineapple and ventured back to the kitchen to find him taking out the cheesecake, I walked over island where he was,
