Severus's: POV
Someone knocked desperately on the door. I opened and saw Draco. "Professor Snape, you must come to the boy's bathroom." he said. "Why?" I asked. "Adam has been hurt." said Draco. I couldn't move, I was paralyzed. Adam had been hurt, I promise myself that I'd protect him. "He lost lots of blood." said Draco.
I walked out from my office and ran to the bathroom. I met a horrible sight. Adam was lying in a pool of his own blood. His face was deathly pale and he was barely breathing. I fell down on my knees and tears filled my eyes. I took out my wand and mumbled a spell. The blood disappeared and the wounds healed. I gently lifted him up in my arms.
"I'm so sorry Professor Snape, I didn't mean to hurt him." said Harry. I gave him a death glance and he took a step back of fear. "Fifty points from Gryffindor and a month's detetion with me. If you ever hurt Adam again, you will wish you were never born." I said coldly and walked out from the bathroom.

Adam woke up an hour later at the hospital wing. I looked worried at him. He smiled when he saw me.
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." I said. "It's not your fault." said Adam. "I swore to protect you, no matter what. I broke my promise." I replied.
"Severus, if you hadn't found me, I'd probably be dead. You saved my life." he said. "I thought I had lost you." I replied. "You'll never lose me." said Adam and gave me a kiss. "I love you." I replied. "I love you too." he said with a smile on his face.
"You need to rest." I replied. "Don't go." said Adam. "I'll be back when you wake up." I replied. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. I placed a kiss on his forehead. "Sleep now, my love." I whispered.
Severus lost Lily and he thought he had lost Adam too🥺
