Prologue

"Suwa, is everything ready?"

Tanong ko sa business partner ko na kasalukuyang tumulong sa paghahanda para sa opening ng aming exhibit.

"Uhmm yes, actually the businessmen, bachelors and the artists are currently downstairs"

"Yeah thank you, it's just that i'm so nervous right now" i said and smiled awkwardly.

Nang matapos na ang lahat ng paghahandang ginawa. I went to the mini office that we have here in our floor which is our own art gallery, to change.

Binuksan ko ang mini cabinet so i can find something appropriate to wear in this event. Kinuha ko ang hanger na naroroon ang brownish checkered turtle neck top. The fitted high waisted jeans that i have. Caramel trench coat that goes with everything and paired it with an ankle high leather boots.

I did put some light make so i can look fresh. Tinali ko ang buhok ko, naglagay na din ako ng earrings at necklace. Tinignan ko ang sarili ko sa salamin.

Goshh sana ayos lang 'to.

"Kori let's start" sabi pa ni Suwa sa likod ng pinto.

"Coming"

Nagmadali akong lumabas. Nakita ko na lamang kung gaano ka dami ang tao na natririto para sa exhibit.

I went to our front desk to check if everything is ok. Luckily wala namang problema, so far. Halos lahat ng inimbitahan ay nandito na kasama ang kanilang plus one.

I also went to food section to check if the food and wines are already placed.

Bumalik ako sa loob at nagsimula na ngang magasalita ang Emcee.

"Let us all call the star of the night our artist for this exhibit Ms. Korianne Garcia"

Naglakad ako papunta sa harap habang ang puso ko ay parang lalabas na sa dibdib ko ng dahil sa kaba.

Bumuntong hininga ako bago humarap at nagsmile sa harap ng maraming tao. I didn't expected that halos lahat ng inimbitahan namin ay pupunta.

I might be one the famous young artist here in asia and the other foreign countries but i never had my own exhibit.

I have to do this and I can do this.

"Good evening everyone. I just want to thank you all for coming here and accepting our invitation. Let me introduce my self first, I'm Korianne Garcia. I had this exhibit not just to sell it to you all my art works not just for myself but also to the children who is suffering from cancer. All of the money that i can have during this exhibit, I'll donate it to the foundation"

I smiled to all of them.

"Please, make yourself comfortable while you are here"

Dinala ng isa sa mga crew ang isang artwork sa tabi ko.

"Everyone, this is my first artwork that i made when i was 12. This called heart link. As you can see in the painting there is a black ink that is from the left side and going directly to the heart while in the right side there is pink with sparkle and it is also going directly to the heart. It means even your heart is very opposite your heart can still link if it's meant to be"

After saying those words i can see the admiration in their eyes. Buti naman at nagustuhan nila ang unang artwork.

Sana maging successful ang event na ito.

7 other artwork was shown in front. After showcasing my artwork, mineet na namin ang ibang mga businessmen.

"Miss Garcia" tawag pa sa'kin.

"Oh hi sir Cuenca" i smiled and we shaked our hand.

"Your artworks are so nice at this young age. I really like 'the cubyertos' "

"Thank you sir" i said while smiling.

"I want to invite you later. After this event we are going to have a simple dinner, i hope you can come" he said and gave me the address.

"You can count on me" i said after excusing myself to meet the other person that is here right now.

Nakaharap ko ang karamihan sa mga naroroon sa exhibit. Nagpapasalamat ako dahil nag successful naman at nabayaran lahat ng pahihirap namin.

I went home to change my outfit so i can go to the dinner that i got invited.

I had a quick shower kasi ramdam ko na ang paglalagkit dahil sa pagpapawis ko kanina.

Nagtungo ako sa drawer para kunin ang plain white shirt and the high waisted trousers. I also grabbed my blue green overcoat and paired it with black pointed t- strap heels.

At dahil wala akong sasakyan magpapahatid na lang ako kay Suwa buti na lang at wala syang ginagawa.

"Suwa, pede mo ko ihatid dito" i told her and then i gave her the address.

"Date?" Makahulugang tanong nya.

"No, i got invited by Mr. Cuenca"

"Sure, baka dahil sa kanya magkaka love life ka na" sabi pa nya at pumasok na sa kwarto at nagbihis.

When i arrived at the restaurant my eyes directly landed on someone i knew. He was standing at the side of the door while talking to his phone.

I went inside at tinanong ako kung may reservation ba. Buti na lang at Mr. Cuenca lang ang nakalagay at nakapasok ako agad.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit nanginginig at hindi ako mapakali.

When i reached the table everyone is wearing a formal dresses and suit while me, i'm just wearing a casual outfit. Lahat ng mata nakatingin sa'kin

Nakakahiya, ako lang ang naiiba sa lahat. Naramdaman ko ang pag init ng pisngi ko.

Ngumiti na lang ako at pinuntahan si Mr. Cuenca para bumati.

"Thank you for having me tonight sir" i said politely.

"You're welcome, I invited you because i want you to meet someone" he replied.

Parang tamang hinala ata si Suwa.

"I'm sorry if my outfit isn't formal" i apologetically said.

"No it's ok, we don't have the time to change that's why our outfits is still formal, BTW you look so gorgeous tonight. Have a seat" he said and offered me a seat.

"Thank you sir"

They said we can chat daw muna kasi may hinihintay pa at hindi pa dumadating ang pagkain.

Someone came to our table and it's the man i knew from before.His famous wide smile plastered in his face that make him more handsome.

He is wearing a plain white dress shirt na tinupi hanggang siko habang ang dalawang buttones ay bukas at ito ay naka tucked in sa navy blue trousers showing it's Martine Rose Black Leather Belt.

"Finally you're here" bungad pa sa kanya ni Mr. Cuenca.

"I'm sorry for being late"he said.

"It's alright, here, come i would like you to meet someone" my eyes winded when he gestured me to stand up.

My hand started to sweat and my heart started to beat widly as he slowly walked towards me.

I composed myself para hindi nila mahalata na kinakabahan at pinagpapawisan na ako ng bongang boga.

"Mr. Florez i would like you to meet Ms. Garcia" Mr. Cuenca introduce us to each other.

I smiled and extended my hand and introduce myself like we didn't know each other.

"Hi, I'm Korianne Garcia. Nice to meet you"

Tinaggap niya ang kamay ko at nagpakilala sa'kin.

"Yeah, I'm Krisler Florez. You changed"
