"I was just admiring Seokjin oppa's handsome looks." She laughed, relieved once she felt the cold drink hit her throat.

"Don't let Yoongi hyung hear that." Jungkook said laughing, joining the slowly growing group.

"Hear what?" Yoongi asked sitting next to his girlfriend fixing her hair for her.

"Seokjin hyung is trying to steal your girl." Hoseok immediately said, curious about how this was going to play out.

two voices snorted "As if." Before both Yoongi and Namjoon looked at each other. They nodded respectfully as Seokjin just looked at it all with an open mouth.

"I could totally steal her!" he yelled a bit too loud, startling the rest in the room.

"It's not about if you could, it's about if you would." Namjoon clarified with a bright smile on his face. Laughing at how ridiculous this whole situation was. Seokjin huffed, but had to admit that he would indeed never steal Melody away from Yoongi. Not only was he not interested in the girl as anything other than a friend, looking at how the two would look at each other... he couldn't imagine anyone ever getting between these two.

They got up as the dance instructor informed everyone that the break was over. The boys wished everyone good luck before going back to their own schedule. Leaving Melody to focus on her dancing again as the room was now filled with a few more whispers and looks shot her way.

"What's so special about her anyway?" A voice said when the group was getting changed into their normal clothes. "She must really love attention with her hair and her eyes like that." Melody pretended not to hear the girls talk about her as she stayed in the shower cabin, not wanting them to know she was there. "Did you see how bts hovered around her? she must have something on them."

Melody didn't understand why people had to be this way. She was reminded of the mean things people would say about her when she was younger. What was so bad about her, that no matter where she went people would make mean comments?

When the room had gone quiet and the footsteps of the girls seemed to disappear Melody came out of the cubicle to grab the rest of her stuff and go home.

"I'm sorry you had to hear that." a voice said from way in the back of the changing room. Melody turned around and looked at a timid girl that she remembered stood in the back of the studio during practice. She wore big round glasses and clothes that clearly had been worn a few times too many.

"It's nothing new really." Melody answered with a small smile.

"That doesn't make it ok." The girl said back, clearly being all too familiar with the feeling that Melody was feeling right now.

"I'm Melody." Melody introduced herself, sticking out her hand for the girl to shake.

"Seul-ki." The girl said, shaking the hand happily.

"I guess it's our jobs to show those girls just how special we are huh?" Melody smiled. She swung her bag over her shoulder, leaving the changing room with Seul-ki in toe. The girl smiled and nodded, seemingly having found new energy to get through the day.

They had to split up early, as Seul-ki had other classes to attend and Melody wanted to see what the boys were working on. She found them in the music studio, just about to wrap up their work on a new song.

The boys greeted Melody happily and she instantly forgot what those mean girls had said before. What did she care what those people thought? Why would she bother with them when she had friends that were this great? Out of happiness she gave Yoongi a peck on his cheek. The boy looked surprised, but happy at the sudden atttack.

"What did I do to deserve that?" He asked, still a bit shocked at his girlfriend's steadily increase of show of affection. She simply shrugged her shoulders in a reply.

"You were you." Yoongi's heart seemed to melt. Whilst the others were happy for their band mate, they decided to usher the couple out of the studio with them so they could finally go home.

"Did anything happen in your class after we left?" Jimin asked, having been scared they might have stirred everything up a bit too much.

Melody shrugged again. "Not much..." she didn't want to tell them about the people who said mean things, or the stares she had felt for the remaining class. They didn't mean much to her anymore anyway. "Oh, I did make a friend!"

Melody told them the basics about Seul-ki whilst ranting on about the fact that she wasn't sure if she could call the girl a friend or if she was more someone she had introduced herself to. The boys looked at each other, all of them wondering the same; was this really a friend?

The boys had learned to be more skeptical when it came to making connections. It simply came with the job. Hearing that Melody had made a friend right after it had become clear that she had connections... it made them doubt the relationship in the least.

Still they listened as the girl kept chirping on, repeating herself and her insecurities about the relationship over and over again.

"Ok, ok, we get it! You met someone who might be a friend!" Jungkook said laughing as the girl was clearly going crazy and becoming a broken record.

"Exactly!" She said enthusiastically, happy that someone had understood her rant.

"I'd love to meet this new potential friend of yours." Hoseok said in a happy, but protective tone.

Melody smiled at him, and promised she would point her out if they ever came across her.

Her energy ran out the moment they got back home and Melody threw herself down on Yoongi's bed.

"So you had a good day?" her partner asked as he put on something a bit more comfortable.

"Yeah.." Melody answered, a hint of hesitation now clear in her voice. No matter how much she tried to ignore those other girls and talk over her own thoughts, she couldn't forget about what they had said about her.

"What's wrong?" Yoongi asked, taking a seat on the bed next to her.

"Nothing really." she sighed. "There were just... some girls.." another sigh " They don't seem to like me." she concluded not really wanting to talk about it anymore than that.

"Don't think about those girls." Yoongi said, lying down too now, turning to lie on his side so he could look at Melody.  "Just.. think about yourself, your dancing and your friends."

"And about you?" Melody asked, looking at the boy right next to her, turning her body to him as well.

"Am I not your friend?" Yoongi asked hesitantly.

Melody shook her head. "My boyfriend." she whispered a bit shy, her face turning a light pink.

Yoongi chuckled and came in closer.

"Right, I'm your boyfriend." he sighed of relief before he planted his lips on hers.

Melody had never really kissed anyone before, except for the few pecks she had given Yoongi. If this was what kissing was like... she hoped they would never have to stop.

It felt as if she was melting into him, his soft lips making her feel like ice-cream in summer.

She felt Yoongi move even closer to her as she just enjoyed this moment of pure bliss. His hand went from her cheek, to her neck, rubbing and softly touching around her breast, only to end up on her waist, pulling her even closer into this embrace. Though Melody had never been touched like this before, she felt safe, she was with Yoongi, she trusted him and she loved him. She smiled through her kiss, her arm embracing his waist as well.

Suddenly they heard the door open. they heard a loud "HYUNG!" before hearing an apologetic squeaky "Sorry!" and the door closing again. Melody and Yoongi separated laughing loudly whilst still hearing Taehyung's footsteps running away from the room.
