~Forth~

Today marks the 3rd day,of me trying to track down this guy. He changed his phone number, and according to my sources. N'Sharp no longer attend this university, he transferred to another University. Still looking into it, he is crafty and appears to be a bigger opponent than I had presumed him to be.*what a COWARD, he started this whole thing but can't finish it? He is a boy afterall* " Yeah, his aunt is the Dean of medicine. The kid has connections, and appears to be two steps ahead of you,Forth"-Max. I looked down at my foot, with my hands in my pocket. Max was right, and that's why I can't shake him off.

I've yet to admit it, but I couldn't deny that a part of me felt Beam might leave me for this guy. I know it sound surreal, but I could tell his heart was shook from N'Sharp. I knew the moment, he told me his reason for not telling me N'Sharp lives next door. I don't want to succumb to my insecurities, but a part of me knew and sensed a change in Beam. Of course, he is loyal to me. But for how long? It would be rather naive to think he can't develop feelings that of ours with another. " Let's get some drinks... he is bound to show his face around again. That's, if he is bold enough"-Park. I smiled and left with him.

~Beam~

Lam's words kept replaying in my head. I don't know why, although his words held no truth. To which I believe with all my heart, I couldn't help but feel bothered by his comments. I looked at the time, it's quarter passed 11pm. Forth texted me around 8pm that I shouldn't wait up for him. He was going over some school stuff with Park. Frankly, Forth is the most gentle when it come to me. But after Lam's comment, I couldn't help but notice Forth has been walking on eggshells around me. As if he doesn't want to upset me.

I was laying in bed when I heard the front door open. Forth walked straight into the bathroom and took a shower. I felt him slip next to me under the blanket and hugged me from behind. " You went to the bar?..." I asked still smelling alcohol on him. " You are up... Yea, Park and I had a few drinks"-Forth. I turned to face him, although it was dark in the room I could still read his expressions.

" You can't sleep? What's weighing on your mind?"He asked while stroking my hair. I really wanted to ask about Phana's statements about him looking for N'Sharp. Also, what Lam brought up in the car. But I couldn't find the words, he kept smiling stroking my hair. " No... I just can't sleep..." I lied. He pulled me into a hug and placed my head on his chest. The sound of his heartbeat was all I needed to fall asleep.

~Sharp~

After I got off the phone with my uncle I paced a call to my mom. " Hi, sweetheart how is university going? How is your friend Beam doing?" Mom asked all excited for me. Ever since P'Beam told me to let her know I have a friend now on campus. She ask about him every time we talk. " He is doing good... but about university. I'm a bit homesick" I told her. She got really quiet, then said " Your aunt said you've been behaving. What have you done this time around?"-Mom.

She knows me too well hahaha. Mother has taken care of some of my past mishaps. She's my biggest cheerleader and always have my back no matter what. " Nothing is wrong, I was thinking after spring break. I'll transfer to the University back home. I don't think a big campus is for me anymore" I said. Mom sighed and said, "... I'll make some phone calls. But you can't quit when things get hard Sharp. Or else you will live life running from your troubles. That never solves anything, you only bring unresolved issues to a new setting"-Mom. I smiled, I wanted tell her how in love I was with Beam.

But that would wait for my plan to pan out and I finally make it official with Beam. " I've heard you mom, and I promise I'll see it through". We said our goodbyes and I proceeded to have my credits transferred to the new university. Mom texted me not long afterwards, to inform me I got in. Nice, step one of my plan is in motion. The last thing that I need to do is the Moon competition, and then I'm out of this city. I know Forth has been looking for me, I rather he create a scene in public while I profess my love to Beam, than in a private setting. *He better come with more than his fist. Because I hold a black belt. Once, I set my eyes on something I want, I make sure I get it*

Friday is finally here, Beam and I will be heading home once his lecture is over. My hometown is only 2 hours from the Capital. Tonight, we will be having dinner with the immediate family. Also, P'Earth is bringing home his new Fiancée Anong. In all, it's a weekend of celebration. I watched as Beam said his goodbyes to his friends and got in the car. " Are you ready?" I asked filled with so much excitement. Because, unbeknownst to Beam, my parents invited his mother to the party held on Saturday. It is a great idea for our families to get to know each other. Especially, since there's no doubt in mind that Beam is all I want in a partner.

" You are in a good mood today. Normally, you dread these drive back home and also all the teasing from your brothers"-Beam said. I couldn't help but laugh, recalling the first time I took Beam home with me. " You remember, the night P'Earth caught us making out in the kitchen?" I said and we both burst out in laughter reminiscing on the past. Yeap, reminiscing on how far we've come. Hopefully, the next 10 or 20 years from now. We will look back on these days and laugh.

When we arrived home, mother quickly kidnapped Beam to the kitchen. She had him trying her new recipe. I was unpacking our luggage when I received a video recording from Ai'Park. It was video of N'Sharp performance. To which he started off dedicating it to Beam. " Tonight I dedicate this song to the love of my life, BEAM BARAMEE. If love is a crime, I don't wan to be right...". That's all I needed to hear, I could feel the blood rushing to my face. Then I threw the phone on the ground. As I stood by my car, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turned abruptly with my fist balled up and jaw clenched. It was my father, " Take a walk with me son..." He said in a calm tone looking at the mess I've made, and lead the way.
