Nevermind the trouble

Keanu's POV

Bigla nalang akong Hindi makagalaw sa narinig ko. Hindi ako nakapagsalita. Tahimik na nakikinig sa ingay mula sa phone at sa stage.

"Looks like you look really are tired, should I hang it off?" Tanong ni Asta sa kabilang linya.

"Yes, please"

"Keanu-chan I will do my best to convince Grandpa not to do it. I don't want you to suffer too" He pause. He tried his voice to be cheerful but failed.

"Cause I love you remember? You're my favorite cousin." Dugtong pa niya

"Thank you Asta-kun" yon nalang ang nasabi ko at naging bangag na, I didn't even bother to turn off my phone.

ANG LALIM ng iniisip ko mula nang nagusap kami ng pinsan ko. It sounded like trouble. Big trouble. Bumalik nako sa lamesa matapos ng tawag ni Asta

"Ikaw Ang dahilan kung bakit ako nanditu, kung bakit sumali ako dito"

Parang naririnig ko ang boses ni Gerald. Lumingon-lingon ako at napadapo ang aking mga mata sa stage kung saan siya nakatayo. Hindi nga ako nagkakamali, siya nga iyon.

"Best friend. Ngayon maririnig muna rin akong kumanta. Diba gustong-gusto mong kantahin ko'to?"

Anong pinagsasabi nito? Ahh oo, nung nag highschool kami gusto kong kumanta siya sa theme song ng movie na nakita ko. I love singing but it doesn't love me back. Aawww😞. Yon siguro yon ang gusto niyang sabihin pero sana iba nalang ang rason niya.

"Akala ko di nako kakanta ulit, pero nanditu ako sa stage nato para kantahin ang paboritong kanta mo Keanu" you may find it corny but for me it was the most romantic speech I have ever heard in my entire exitance.

Suminyas na siya sa nakaencharge sa music.

Pagkatunog ng kanta lahat ng balahibo ko tumaas.

But Ellen and her family migrated to USA. Gerald made a promise to her that she will be the only person who can hear his voice.

Then how come you're singing now? Is this the sign? Did you move on already?
