Steve, even at a time like this, was impressed. He was able to pick up on what he was talking about.

"I don't think like that. But..." Steve said, "that gave me an idea."

"What is it?" Andrew asked.

Steve nodded his head to the living room. "Come on. Let's make sure you don't run away like a coward."

Ellie's POV:

Aidan opened the other door of the back seats, from the side Izzy was sitting on. He reached inside and held a sleeping Izzy in his arms, unaware of the world around her.

After Aidan was sure he had her, we all started to walk to the front door. We had yet to open the door when, "Steve! I'll kill you! Undo this right now!"

"Oh no. This can't be good." Mom mumbled. She took the keys from Aidan and opened the door herself.

She rushed inside to see what was going on with us following behind her. We followed her to the living room.

Mom burst out laughing as she saw whatever it was she saw. Curious, I peeked from behind her to see what was going on as well.

My eyes widen at the sight.

Dad was sitting on the couch, glaring at Steve. The reason why he was glaring at Steve was because... Well, to out it simply, he was tied to the couch.

Steve stood beside him, with a triumph expression on his face and his arms crossed.

Aidan cleared his throat. "Ehem... Should we ask?"

"No!" Dad said at the same time Steve said, "Yes!"

"Yeah... I'd rather not. I'll just take Isabelle upstairs." Aidan said and went up the stairs.

Dad ignored everyone in the room, especially mom who was laying on another couch laughing like no tomorrow. "Steve! Untie me now!"

"Nope! You told me to do this." Steve said.

"Not like this!" Dad said back.

They kept on arguing back and forth about it. While they were arguing, I leaned back on the wall and watched the show.

The show that included two, grown up males arguing like kids.

I couldn't help but feel like they knew each other from before. Like they have spent a lot time together.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I watched the exchange.

Steve's certainly not acting like he had just tied a celebrity to a couch in his house. In fact, he was acting like he had tied up his best friend.

Okay... What's going on between the two? Were they friends before?

Aidan came back down and asked, "Still going on?"
