Cameron's POV
Monday. Back at school. I've got biology first, and in all honesty, I feel far too tired to learn about all the different parts of the body. In my opinion, it's the easiest of the three sciences, but that doesn't mean it's not at all difficult.

"Cam, guess what," Robin says during form.
"What?" I grunt, placing my forehead on the desk.
"Didn't get much sleep last night?"
"Never get much sleep."
"True. Anyway, I have some good news for you. She didn't want me to tell you, she wanted it to be a surprise but this is just something I have to tell you. Evie's gonna try and visit over the weekend."

Almost immediately, I shoot up, a stupidly wide grin plastered on my face. However, in a short moment, my head is back on the desk.
"I can't wait that long," I groan. "I just wanna see her now. Do you think I should tell her about...?" His name dies on my lips, I can't bring myself to talk about him so openly at school. In fact I only feel safe talking about him when I'm alone, as even with Robin, I fear they might slip up and tell someone.

"We'll see when it comes to it. Now, I have a free second period, how about you?" They ask.
"English. And before that, I've got biology."
"You've got Mr McWilliams as a teacher, don't you? I'm kinda sad that he's mainly a biology teacher, I wish I had him for physics."
"What? You don't like your current teacher?" I smirk, glancing at Mrs Chapman who stares at her laptop whilst sitting at her desk. "Guess I can't really blame you."

Soon, form ends and I head upstairs to my biology classroom. There I find a handful of my classmates already inside and Mr McWilliams lingering by the door, handing each student a sheet of paper with some questions on it as they walk in.

"Morning Cameron," he grins, handing me the paper. "You weren't in for the last lesson, everything alright?"
"Mhmm, just felt ill, that's all," I nod, walking past.

During class, I feel my fever from the weekend coming back. Either that or my exhaustion has come to make me feel miserable. The lesson is to do with the brain though, and I manage to take enough in.

That is until my vision blacks out. First in spots, and then after a moment, everything goes dark.

"Cam? Cam, you awake?" Robin's voice asks. Groaning quietly, I force my eyes open, quickly noticing the stream of warm red blood dripping out of my nose.
"What happened?" I murmur.

"We found you unconscious in the art block," the school nurse says, placing a hand on my forehead. "You don't appear to have a fever, but from what I've been told, you don't usually pass out, so we should probably send you home for the day."
"Wait, you found me where?" I ask, going to sit up, though I'm quickly pushed down.
"The art block."
"But, I was in my biology lesson. I remember going there and getting a question sheet and we were learning about the brain and-"
"Is there anyway you could've imagined this happening?"

"Not that I'm aware of. Ask Mr McWilliams, I distinctly remember going into the lesson."

"I did ask someone to get him, after all, you were supposed to be in his lesson."
"I was in his lesson," I reply, sternly.

Before I continue to keep up this attitude towards the nurse, the door flies open and there stands Mr McWilliams.

"You can return to class Michael," he says to Robin, making me tense up slightly.
"Yes sir, hope you get better Cam."
"Thanks," I smile as they walk out.

"Cameron's insistent that she was in your lesson at the start, despite the fact we found her in the art block, is that true?" The nurse asks.
"I remember her entering the classroom, she even answered a few questions. But I looked over at her desk at one point and suddenly she was gone, but all her stuff was still there."
"Interesting... well I've called your parents Cameron, you're mother is coming to pick you up. Can you go grab all of her stuff and take it back here for her?"
"Yep, I'll be back in a moment."
