I like to think I had quite a few good examples when it came to relationships. I'd been in my own fair share of relationships myself, and had had to work hard on making our relationship a success, but that really didn't prepare me for falling completely in love with Joe.
He was pretty damn perfect in an imperfect kind of way. He makes me happy, laugh and accepts me and life just the way they are.
But I fell in love with him, and I found myself asking him softly, "How does love happen? How does it really happen?"
