Who would wanna marry me?! That was going through my head. I had to talk to her about it.
"Hey Di? You know when you made that comment... do you actually feel that no one would ever want to marry you?" She shrugged and was choking up. I would have to remind her of her worth. "You are incredible, you know. I love you. You know I do. It's too soon to talk about marriage, isn't it?"
"Definitely." I knew this wasn't a quick fix. These insecurities would need resolving over time and I was more than willing to help.
