We finished recording our samba reaction video when Dianne said, "Oh! I just had a brilliant idea." I looked expectantly at her. "Since you were so good at the air drums, why don't I teach you to play real drums?"
"You?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" There were eyes in her fire; I'd have to tread carefully. I grinned cheekily at her.
"Go on. Show me how it's done." She shook her head and laughed.
"Sorry, that sounded quite defensive."
"Yeah. No worries though." We spent the rest of the evening mucking about on Byron's drums till our stomachs hurt.
