I looked at the screen telling which patient was next and saw Miss Eden Sugg.

"That's us, baby." Eden gurgled in response. "Come on, Mummy. Let's go."

"Joe, Dianne, come in," Dr. Kavanagh said. "Eden." She gave her a beaming smile. "Hello, smiler."

"She's my daughter." Dianne said laughing.

"Yeah. A mini Dianne with my sparrow legs."

"Speaking of... Let's get you weighed..."

"Is she alright?" Dianne squeezed my hand, knowing I was panicking.

"She's in the first percentile, which means she's quite little."

"We made her small," I joked.

"Any tips?"

"Here. Take this." She handed us a paper.
