I want to love you.
I want to snuggle
on the couch and
watch a Disney movie.
I want to forget about
school and my chores
and my anxiety and
pretend we're the only
two creatures in the world.
But I can't. Because I don't.
And I can't force myself to
love you, no matter how much
I try. You're not my soulmate
and that's okay. You deserve
to be able to find yours.
And I hope you do. Because
you're amazing. And one day,
you will.
