Four teenagers embark on a (very gay) journey to save the world from the Devil's Evil Plan™. They are also the reincarnation of the ye old legends. Or, Zimo just wanted to sleep. Artie just wanted to make his parents proud. Ollie just wanted a girlfriend. Gwen just wanted a movie night with friends. But destiny had other plans.

some education about the queer community and the labels that people within it use also flags and validation this is really just a way to show off my growing collection of pride ghosts gonna make some playlist kinda things for each chapter the order is really weird, ignore that this is a constant work in progress some general TWs for basically every chapter: dysphoria (only really in the gender chapters) sex related stuff (nothing graphic, it's just mentioned sometimes) homophobia and transphobia (only for the misconceptions paragraph (4th one)) maybe a bit of strong language please correct me if I get stuff wrong

In which having crushes is weird, falling in love is complicated, and seemingly impossible (like a complex riddle written in a language you don't understand), until it very much isn't. Or: the author's sexuality is confusing as hell and she's decided to make that Edric's problem.

Sunny Shelley wants a girlfriend, but she doesn't want to date. She can't bear the awkward stages of getting to know someone only to find, after investing too much time, that they won't work out. She can't bear to let herself fall for a girl only to find out she's straight. She can't bear the thought of someone getting to know her and only then realising it wasn't worth the effort. It's not easy being a lesbian in 1999. If she could just wake up one day and be in a relationship, all those stages skipped, that would be ideal . No painful first dates, just a fully-fledged relationship with someone who already loves her exactly as she is. Of course, she doesn't expect that to actually happen. But the universe works in mysterious ways. When Sunny speaks the her desire out loud one night after work, at the exact moment that she trips and loses her bus fare down the wishing well she walks past every day, she thinks nothing of it - until she wakes up in a strange flat with a woman she doesn't recognise. A woman who, according to her friends, has been her girlfriend for over a year. Only when she has everything she asked for does Sunny realise that maybe she asked the wrong question, because what is the point of waking up a year into a relationship if she has no memory of it? It isn't easy. It's pretty fucking scary, actually, and she wants more than anything to go back to the nineties. But that isn't easy. She might just have to get used to this new life. Which means doing the one thing she wanted to avoid. Sunny has a girlfriend. Now she has to get to know her. © Elle Carrigan 2023

Will Byers wasn't the only one in the Upside Down. Katherine "Kitty" Lance was with him. Follow their story as they fight to survive and reunite with their friends and family, and in the aftermath as Kitty comes to find herself with a horde of adopted children and enough trauma to last a lifetime. AN: I don't own Stranger Things just Kitty and her storyline. Should be obvious from the title but there's heavy cursing. Should update every Saturday. Chapter titles are based on the title of the episode the events of the chapter parallel.
