"You what?!" Jin's eyes widened like saucers. The ufo saucers, not the plate thing.

"You heard me," Yoongi crossed his arms. "I want to make a song with J-hope."

"This isn't April Fools-"

"I'm not joking," Yoongi shook his head. "I've been listening to his music the last few days, and watching videos about him. He's actually not that bad. Plus, everyone on social media is talking about the two of us. Might as well, right?"

"If Hoseok says no?"

"No harm done," Yoongi deadpans.

"And if he says yes?"

"Then we'll make it to the charts."

"So that's what he said?" Hoseok inquired after his manager finished his phone call with Yoongi's manager.

"Yes," Jimin nodded. "Those were his exact words."

"He sounds so confident," Hoseok muttered.

"Well are you in?"

Hoseok thought for a moment. Why would Yoongi want to work on a song with him if he hated him? Could it be Yoongi was only using him? Because of their stupid rivalry, Yoongi's using Hoseok to gain more popularity? You can't blame him for thinking this, he's got some severe trust issues after just a few months.

"I wanna talk to him in person before I come up with a decision," Hoseok said.

"Fine by me," Jimin nodded. "I'll text Jin. Maybe we can schedule a meeting at his or your studio tomorrow?"

"Good."

Hoseok stood outside the tall, fancy looking entertainment building called DT Entertainment. He was wearing a hat and a mask to hide his face, and a leather jacket because it was chilly.

"This is the place," Jimin gestured to the building.

"I can see that," Hoseok replied.

The two entered the building, greeting the front desk lady. She smiled at them like she does with everyone else, she tried her best to not seem fake.

"You two must be here to see Suga." she said. "He's out on a coffee run right now, but he should be back soon."

"Oh okay," Jimin nodded at that.

Hoseok sighed, taking off his bucket hat to run his fingers through his soft, brown locks. So soft.

"Oh! Looks like they're here already!" they heard Jin's voice at the entrance of the building.

"Hello," Namjoon greeted them, Hoseok doing the same.

"So? Ready to discuss about that collab?" Yoongi asks Hoseok.

"Sure, Suga."

"Call me Yoongi."

The four went to the elevator, and up the floors to where Yoongi's studio was. The got to the door labeled Genius Lab.

"Genius Lab?" Hoseok questioned. "Really?"

"It's my genius lab," Yoongi replies, pressing the numbers on the keypad to unlock the door.

"You are truly high-class," Hoseok comments.

Yoongi only rolls his eyes, opening the door and welcoming them into his studio. Everything was neat, and nicely decorated. Lots of figures, a jersey with his stage name labeled on the back hung on his chair, and producer equipment. The room was very Yoongi. Very his style, obviously since it was his studio room.

"So, I already have a rough recording of the song that I was thinking about using for us," Yoongi says, sitting down in his chair that made him feel like a boss. He pressed play.

Hoseok listened to the beat, nodding his head along with it. It only lasted a few seconds before ending. "Yeah, sounds good. But maybe... here can you scoot over?"

"Uh, sure?" Yoongi nods, leaning his chair to the left. Hoseok coming to his desk.

The two then proceeded to work on the beat for their song. Jin and Jimin on the side surprised by the magic working between them. When they didn't want to cut each other's throat out, they actually were a pretty good pair.

Maybe this wouldn't turn out in a disaster?

As they were working, they heard the someone trying to get into the studio using the keypad. After five failed attempts, there was knocking on the door.

"Yoongi?" they heard the voice from outside the door.

"Who's that?" Hoseok asks.

"Namjoon," Yoongi got up from his seat and headed to the door, inviting Namjoon in.

"Your phone isn't over there," Yoongi points to his desk where there was a phone face down. The case had Ryan's face on it. The character, not some guy named Ryan.

"Thanks," Namjoon goes over to the desk to retrieve his phone, his eyes landing on Hoseok. "Oh, you're J-hope! I'm a huge fan!"

"I'm a huge fan of yours too!" Hoseok reaches his hand out for Namjoon to shake. He really was a huge fan of Namjoon. And as his fan, Hoseok always notices that no one ever accepts Namjoon's handshakes during interviews. That is why he told himself that if he ever met Namjoon, he would give him a handshake.

Namjoon happily accepted the handshake, cheering in his hand since this was a rare thing for him. Kinda sad, but moving on...

"What are you doing here?" Namjoon asks Hoseok.

"I'm working on a song with Su- Yoongi," Hoseok answers.

Hearing his name sent shivers down Yoongi's spine. Possibly because of the way Hoseok said it. His tone was low key kinda sexy, but Yoongi won't admit it. Okay, he admits Hoseok is sexy, but moving on...

"And call me Hoseok," he adds.

"Well, then call me Namjoon," he shrugs with a smile, turning to Yoongi to include him in with the conversation. "You're working on a song together? How's it going?"

"Good so far," Yoongi says. "We just finished making the beat."

"Can I listen?" Namjoon asks. "Pretty please?"

"Disgusting," Yoongi gags. "But okay."

He pressed play, and Namjoon listens to the song. Hoseok observed him as he listened. If Namjoon liked it, their fans would like it too. Namjoon's face went into serious mode as he listened, his chin being pushed out to show high level of serious. He nods his head with the beat.

"Yeah," he nods. "This great— top chart material!"

"Really?" Yoongi asks. "That makes me feel better."

"Why?" Hoseok questions. "You think something is missing?"

"No," Yoongi shakes his head. "I just worry whether the fans would like it or not."

"Of course they will," Hoseok reassures him. "You're really talented, which is expected of someone who's won the best solo artist award three years in a row. You're worthy rival-material."

Yoongi smiles at that. "Well, I guess you're worthy rival-material as well. Jung Hoseok."

Hoseok looks at him, seeing a smug smirk on Yoongi's lips. He rolls his eyes with a grin on his hearty lips. Namjoon being in the middle of this, wondering if he was still sticking around to help with production or to be a third wheel.
