Perhaps this chapter, to be strictly accurate, should be titled "Worst Lines Ever" as Wet (by Nicole Scherzinger) is generally a pretty inoffensive song—at least from the standpoint of dodgy lyricism, anyway.
It's a mediocre song, from a moderate singer, and while it could hardly be said to scale any great heights of linguistic, social or psychological insight, it's hardly the Robinson Crusoe of pop music in that respect.
In the song, Nicole apparently dances around a bit, gets somewhat hot from her exertions, and for some reason that's never really fully explored, spends a good part of the proceedings quite soggy. Maybe it was rainy that day? Don't know. Anyway, for the most part, it's frankly pretty forgettable (apologies, Nicole).
For the most part, but not for the whole part. Because within that whole part, there exists the following utterly non-forgettable line: -
"I'm waitin' for a man with the fan who can give me a breeze."
I'm just going to let that sink in for a bit.
I have nothing further to say.
