The Rotten Poem

Finally, it's time for yellow
The third color in the rainbow
Blending with the fire coming from Katniss' arrow
Both vibrant and dull, it can surely endow

Bright, happy, sunshine -Just a few words that came to mind
But who am I kidding? It's not just in my thoughts
It's what I felt when you were around

But I guess everyone can be fooled by a bright light
You'll come to realize that you'll be hurting your eyes when you stare too much
And while I'm at it, do you know mango?You think it's sweet because it's pure yellow
Only to taste its sourness or sometimes to discover that it's rotten
But what can you do? You have already eaten by then

Oh how did I end up like this?
Supposed to be writing but now thinking how messed up it is
But then, I guess it's fine
It's yellow after all
Happy in the outside, but full of deceit and lies inside
