Happy Sabbath Everyone.
(Exodus 20:8-11KJV) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
(Ezekiel 20:12 KJV) Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
(Ezekiel 20:20 KJV) Hallow my sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God. ____________________________________
COMMENTARY
It is the only commandment that have the word remember before it. Why is that? The Lord wants us to remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. The Lord created the heaven and the earth in six days and rested on the Sabbath day. The Lord have set apart this day for us to come and worship Him.
