I'm not your damn errand boy
Waking up in your own bed felt a little colder then you expected. Your favorite stuffy was tucked into your chest as you patted around the bed, looking for what you thought you'd lost.
What did you lose anyway?
And just like that, the night before flooded to you as the smell of fresh bacon and eggs swept through your open door.
You'd been looking for Connor. With a smile, you climbed out of bed, but stopped realizing you were in the clothes from the night before. You changed into a fresh pair of jeans and shirt, making sure you had your phone as you walked to the kitchen.
You could wake up every morning to the sight of a handsome android making you breakfast, as long as it was this specific RK800.
"Good morning," you greeted, grabbing your badge off the counter top.
"Good morning detective," Connor placed a final pancake on a plate, turning off the stove.
"I thought I told you to stop calling me that," you laughed, looking at the delicious looking meal he made, "is this for me?"
"No it's for the plants," Connor said, surprising you with his sarcasm as he put two fresh pancakes on a plate with some eggs and bacon, "of course it's for you."
"Looks like you picked up a thing or two from Hank," you laughed, sitting down the with plate and digging it, "Connor this is really good!" You said through a mouthful, surprised he could cook like this.
Connor cleaned up the mess he made in the kitchen, sitting across from you at the table when he was done.
"I'm glad you like them," he watched you eat silently. It made you a tab but uncomfortable, but you didn't say anything.
"Any new reports today?" You asked, taking the plate and silverware to the sink.
"No new cases so far," Connor stood on the other side of the island, watching you move around the kitchen.
"Well, more time to work on the Lafayette cases," you smiled, putting the dishes away.
"I'll drive this time," you smiled, putting on your shoes and grabbing you keys and jacket. Connor followed you to the elevator.
"I'm sorry if I brought up anyway... upsetting topics last night," Connor apologized, probably for bringing up Carl.
"Don't be sorry, it's okay to ask questions when you're curious about things," You said, watching the numbers click each time you moved down a floor.
"Noted," he said, crossing his arms behind his back, "do you think the Lieutenant will be at the station today?"
"Well, not at the moment, but who knows, he full of surprises," you knew he mostly likely wasn't going to come, but it was nice when he did show up.

The station was busy as always, hustling with parol cops brining in different people and interviewing others. A few detective sat at their desks, some looked like they'd been there all night.
You got a few "good morning"s form different people as you made your way to your desk. Connor followed behind you, pulling his chair up closer to your desk.
"I'm gonna have another look at the footage, want to help?" You asked Connor, pulling out the flash drive.
"Of course detective," he smiled, shifting to see the screen better. It didn't take as long to load the second time, and you skipped to the you first frame you saw your father on screen.
