Meanwhile, on the other side of the door;
Author's p.o.v.

As he placed the table over the door, making sure she couldn't come in, the boy turned around and walked away.

He was about to go upstairs, but stopped himself from doing that as something on the small table in the hall caught his attention.

He felt like something hit his heart.

Taking one in his hand carefully, he felt like tearing up.

They weren't dirty anymore.
They were still as soft as he remembered.

Someone would say: 'what's so special about them? They are just ordinary stuffed toys.'

No.
They were more than that.
They meant whole world to him, as they held so much memories and stories in them.
They saw everything.
They knew his side of the story.

A small tears fell on little one's head.

He smiled at them before returning the one from his hand back to it's place, beside the other six.

A question appeared in his head.
'who put them here?'

His mind returned to that girl.

"It was her, wasn't it?"

How did he feel about that?
Angry because she touched his things?
Thankfull because she cleaned them?
Happy because she put them there?

He knew he shouldn't have cared, but he did.

It wasn't okay to just throw her outside.

He looked out of the window and saw rain pouring.

She was maybe human, and he knew humans were bad.
They hurted him.
But in the end, she didn't do anything to him.
She helped.

Embarassed, he had to admit that no one would do what she did.
Od course, it was not okay that she saw him naked.
But other humans did much worse things.

And he saw her too. So it was fair.
Not completely, but close enough.

Speaking about that, he couldn't help himself but take a quick look on her body.
A certain thing interested him the most.

A scar on the left side of her stomach.

The weird thing was,
he had the same one.
Same place, size, color and shape.

Except, his was not a scar. It was a birthmark.
Maybe hers was too?

He couldn't know without asking.

But, was it too late for that?
Maybe she went away already.

He pinched the bridge of his nose.
After a few seconds of thinking, he went to the door and removed the table from it.

His eyes instantly fell on her small figure, leaning on the stairs and not moving.

He came beside her and stared at her until he realised that she was sleeping. Totally ignoring the coldness and the rain falling on her.

A sigh escaped his mouth as his one hand slipped under her knees and the other one holding her back. He gently lifted her up and carried her inside.

As he placed her on the bed, he took a seat beside her and admired her features.
She was definately human.
A beautiful,harmless and caring one.

He lost trust in humans long ago.
They showed their true faces.

Then, why did she do that?
Why did she help him?
