part 16

i woke up the next morning with my head resting on a pillow stained with my own tears whilst my arms and legged wrapped around cuddling another. my eyes felt heavy from last night and my body felt sluggish.

"good morning, beautiful. are you feeling okay?" i heard levi say from behind me. his voice was gentle and filled with concern.

"morning... i'm fine," i groaned. "what time is it?" i rubbed my eyes.

"uhh... about 9:30. here, i ordered breakfast from room service. you should probably eat and start getting ready cause we gotta head out pretty soon. sorry, i didn't wanna wake you up since last night seemed.. pretty rough."

"right," i whispered. today was the first day of vidcon and also the day that aksel, alex and their friends were going to have their meet and greet with fans. i decided i would go through with going to the meet and greet since i owed it to aksel but also because this would give me the chance to finally meet some of their friends which i've been pretty excited for.
i forced myself out of bed and ate breakfast before it went cold - a simple plate of sunny side up eggs, bacon, sausage and toast with a glass of juice on the side.

"hey.. y/n," levi said, breathing out as he sat down opposite me at the small square table.

"hmm?" i muffled, chewing on my last piece of toast.

"do you want to talk about what happened yesterday?"

i gulped hard, looking down as i thought back about what happened in the room with alex. i shook my head in response.

"look, i know it wasn't just because i was gone. where'd you go before i came back?"

"i was just with... someone. please, can we not talk about this right now?" i said, still looking down at my plate.

"was it alex?"

at the sound of his name, i looked up at levi, meeting his eyes but i quickly turned my head, looking back down to the side.

he furrowed his brows and stared at me for a couple seconds. my stomach started to turn. he then took a deep breath and sighed. "okay..." he said quietly before slowly getting up and leaving me at the table to give me space.

when we arrived at the park, there were already fans waiting, huddling together in small groups as they giggled and gasped, pointing at their favourite creators who they soon were going to meet. more pointing and jumping from fans happened as we walked into the centre of the park where the meet and greet would take place. although the fans were respectfully staying back until the exact starting time, i felt uncomfortable having all these eyes on me since i felt like they probably had no idea who i was - let alone levi.

"woooo! look who's finally here," one person cheered from the group of creators.

"yeahh!! you guys ready?" another said.

"you fuckin' bet your asses we are!" aksel raised both his fists in the air.

"hi!! you must be y/n!" a short girl with blonde hair and dark roots swooped to one side approached me.

"yeah, hey! ani, right? it's so nice to meet you!"

"likewise!" she smiled adorably, her eyes disappearing into a cheerful squint. she turned to look up at levi. "i don't think we know each other but hi, i'm ani." she held out a hand to him which he shook kindly.

"hey! yeah hahah, good to meet you. i'm levi." he looked at me briefly before looking back at her. "i guess i'm y/n's boyfriend."

"you guess?" ani giggled.

even though it was fair to say he was, i was still a little taken back. we had never completely established or confirmed our relationship so it felt a little strange to hear it out loud. i softly smiled at ani and gave her a single nod.

"well, we're gonna be starting really soon so... try and make yourselves comfortable, i guess!" she said giddily.

"will do," i smiled.

levi and i sat ourselves down at a nearby bench since we didn't think we should interfere with the meet and greet. everyone looked so happy - as if they didn't have a care in the world. i looked over at alex who had one of the longest lines of fans waiting to meet him. i couldn't help but wonder about what was going through his head with everything that happened yesterday. i couldn't help but wonder if everything he said was true. god, i can't even look at him. either of them... alex and levi... i feel so sick.

"y/n? are you okay?" levi asked.

"i..."

"y/n! hi!" an excited voice came from behind me.

i turned around to see three young teenage girls standing with giant smiles on their faces.

"oh, hi!" i said. "uhh, what's up?"
how do they know me?

"we didn't know you'd be here! we've missed you so much on quackity and aksually's videos and streams. why aren't you ever on them anymore?"

i let out an awkward laugh. "oh, i'm sorry umm... i just feel a little uncomfortable with that sort of spot light i guess hahah."

the girl speaking pouted. "aw.. well, that's understandable." she looked over at levi and slightly tilted her head. "is.. this your boyfriend?"

levi began laughing. "yes, yes i am."

"oh!" her eyes widened. "we just.. i thought... nevermind," she said, shaking her head. "i'm so sorry, we'll get out of your hair now but.. could we get a picture?"

"oh, yeah of course!" i said surprised.

the girl handed her phone over to levi and i motioned them over for us to huddle together. after taking the photo, the girls gave me a quick hug and thanked me, once more wishing that i'd appear in videos again before running off to line up in alex's queue of fans.

i glanced over to the group of creators and saw aksel grinning widely at me with an 'i told you so' expression. i gave a smile and scrunched my nose at him to let him know he should get back to him fans.

lol it's been a while
sorry guys. planned on publishing this AGES ago but couldn't think of how to end the part without it being so long hahahah
still not quite satisfied but i'll try my best to work on this more frequently!! <3
