I am a writer, i thrive on misery
The pain you feel in your flesh
I feel it in my bones
When you are angry you want to punch things
I want to burn myself alive
When you are in love, you have stars in your eyes
I have storms and hurricanes
It all sounds amusing to you, some people's fantasy maybe
But trust me sometimes it all gets too much
To feel this way this much
Consumes you to your very core
You don't know until you are shaking and standing still
When there is no blood left in your veins
yet there is blood, everywhere
I am an over thinker i need forgiveness
I am intensity i need numbness
You hear of people made of fire and rain
It is all good until they come together
Both the fire and raging rain all at once
In the same soul
It all comes easy to me, the love and the hate
Its the indifference, can't open that gate
Sometimes i do play for my own sanity
Let go for a moment or two, for you
But i am sorry i made you think that it is going to be like that all the time
I am sorry i gave you hope
I am sorry i let you take me for granted
Because it can all be over, without a conversation, without a reason
It will drive you nuts
But darling if it doesn't
Is it worth it!
After all
I am a writer
I thrive on misery
