EPILOGUE- I'M GLAD

MAISY'S P.O.V

5 YEARS LATER.....

"Daphne stop whining." I told my 2-year-old daughter. I got her into my arms and she snuggled into my neck and fell quiet. I looked back to see Eugene carrying Daphne's twin brother Daniel. They were exactly 38 seconds apart, Daphne first. I smiled remembering the day. It sure was hectic.

I felt a hand grab my arm and stop me. There was a broken branch a metre away from us. "Be careful." Eugene told me gently and gave me a kiss on the cheek and waited for me to continue and followed after me. I smiled and continued walking through the jungle. We were going to the village to visit.

We had gotten out of the 'renewing our wedding vows' by saying that we had it all planned and that we were going to do it later. If we hadn't then we probably gotten married then.

It had been two and a half years since I had married Eugene and I couldn't be happier. Because we both lived in California, we both got accepted into the same college and had married in our third year of dating.

I had gotten pregnant quite early in our marriage but I don't regret anything because it had given me two beautiful children.

We come to visit the village three times every year for a week and it is probably the best thing we ever do. Eugene had graduated last year from architecture and had helped the village with new buildings to make it stronger and better. I had graduated from nursing and I am working as a part time nurse at the local hospital.

It was kind of hard to go to school and look after twins but we had managed with the help of both our families. We could never repay them of how much help they've been.

We arrived to the village and every one starting greeting us and we greeted them back. I walked up to Laritza and gave her a hug and she got Daphne out of my arms, cooing at her. The Chief and Eugene shook hands and we were off to our usual hut but the more expanded version.

Eugene had expanded the hut and had put in more things like beds that are quickly set up and so on. Eugene put down Daniel and he and his sister were quick to start playing with the village kids.

I put Daphne's bag and mine down and sat down on the bed, exhausted and Eugene sat down next to me. He put his and Daniel's bags down on the floor and put his right arm around my shoulders and I snuggled into him.

"I'm so glad that we got lost together." He said.

"I'm just glad that we found love in the end." I replied and felt him kiss the top of my head.

This was all I could have ever asked for in life.

Hey! This is officially the end of Lost and Found! :( There might be a spin off of Daphne but it is not official and it will include Maisy and Eugene in it even though it wont be a lot. Have a nice day or night :) and a big thank you to The_Infinity for the cover!!
