CHAPTER 17- LOVELY CONFESSIONS

                                                                       MAISY'S P.O.V

I was still staring at him in shock, but one thing was clear in my mind. That I love him as well but I wanted him to say it to me while knowing that he’s saying it.

He slowly sat up and looked into my eyes.

“Yes, its true. I love you and I wouldn’t have wanted to say it here. I wanted to make it special for you.” He said and bowed his head, looking down.

I cupped his face in my hand and lifted his head up. I inched my face slowly towards his and kissed him slowly, trying to show my love through kissing.

I pulled away when both of us were nearly out of breath and I looked back into his eyes, “ I love you too.” I whispered to him and he immediately grinned and pulled me up, wrapping his arm around my waist and spinning me around.

This was such a cliché movie scene but I didn’t care because I was with Eugene and that’s all that mattered.

He put me down and pecked me on the lips.

“Its perfect.” I replied to his earlier comment on how he wanted to make it special.

“Yeah.” He agreed and wrapped his arm around my waist, hugging me and I hugged him around the neck and we heard clapping and hooting outside our hut.

We both looked towards the door to see the villagers all looking in here. I buried my face in Eugene’s neck in embarrassment and heard him chuckle. I hit him on the shoulder with the back of my hand.

Eugene pulled away and pulled me outside from my hand next to the villagers. The Chief was standing at the front with Laritza and their daughter Arika.

“Congratulations,” he said, “ You have been lost and have found even more love here.”

I entwined my hand with Eugene’s and grinned widely until what came out of the Chief’s mouth next.

“We renew your vows now.”

Hey! I am so sorry that I couldnt update for two weeks because I had exams and I had to study but now school is finished and I'm on summer holidays!! I am sad to inform you that this is the last chapter of Lost and Found but there will be an EPILOGUE!! :) Have a nide day or night!
