It almost feels like, It was just a dream. All these memories, Of you and me.
'You and I' just feel like, A distant memory. A dream left halfway, A trance, a reverie.
It was ephemeral, Yet so labyrinthine. We had our differences, But I could still call you mine.
We were destined to meet, We were destined to end. You and I would've had been, Better off as friends.
It feels so long ago now, You barely cross my mind. I know for a fact now, That I will be just fine.
