I'm afraid of the dark,
And everything that it hides.
All those creatures which lurk,
Invisible to the eye.I'm afraid of the ocean,
And the secrets it conceals.
All that that lies there,
Unbeknownst to me.I'm afraid of words,
And the harm that they can cause.
All those which condemn people,
Highlight their insecurities and their flaws.I'm afraid of the future,
And the what if's and tomorrows.
All that which is temporary,
Both happiness and sorrow.I'm afraid of losing you,
And even the thought of you leaving.
All those memories with you,
Will just leave me grieving.I'm afraid of myself,
And the monster that I am.
All that you see,
Is nothing but a scam.I'm afraid of living a life of fear,
And a life where happiness is occasional.
All those terrors that I face,
Are in fact, irrational.A/N—so here's literally a list of things i'm afraid of lmao... the list goes onnnnnnn, but ehh
