"Lisa!" I knocked three times before she opened her bedroom door. She looked very ill and weak. "Oh my gosh what happened?"

"I already told you. I feel sick." Lisa said as she walked to her bed to lay down. I stood by her.

"What have you eaten?"

"Rice," she answered quickly. I raised an eyebrow.

"What else?"

"A lot of rice and...grapes."

"Wait we have grapes?" I asked and Lisa's eyes widened before she started coughing and gasping.

"I...swear...if...you don't... tell dad and mum-"

"-Tell dad and mum what?" Mum asked with dad behind her.

"What's wrong with Lisa?" Dad asked as he came closer to Lisa.

"I ate... grapes and... I feel...sick."

Mum looked at dad in horror, "Wait the grapes we found."

"You found grapes?" I asked confused.

"Yes there was a bunch in a basket which we randomly found on top of my car. We left the basket in the kitchen because we were planning on having someone check it."

Lisa gasped before vomiting. Dad rubbed her back and Mum rushed out to get something to clean up the mess.

I stood still.

To make it fair you will loose something important.

Was that something supposed to be someone? Lisa?

I looked at dad to see him staring at me, "you and I need to talk Miranda," Mum walked back into the room and dad walked out practically dragging me with him.

We got to his and Mum's room. He knelt down and pulled a box from under his bed and opened it.

Wait. What?

He had all the notes. He got them back from me.

"You thought I wouldn't notice."

"Well... Yes." Dad shooked his head before sitting on the bed.

"I can't believe you Miranda. I understand this isn't entirely your fault but look how far this has gone."

"I know."

"You need to cut contact with Richard, Peter and anyone you work with. Okay?"

"That basically means loosing the job and never finding out who is behind the notes."

"If it means this all ends then fine. You have obviously attracted the attention of a crazy person."

"I just want to know who this person is."

"We all do but we can't take any more risks. Okay?"

"Okay."

"Just stay home for me."

"What about the police?" I asked and dad burried his face in his hands. "I didn't want to scare you."

I froze. "Scare me? About what?"

"Your mum showed the police all the notes I have. The police don't believe us. They said someone is just being stupid."

"Great. That's just great!"

"Just like when I told them about the car accident. Apparently I just needed to check my car before going out. The figure I saw standing by the car was just my imagination."

I couldn't help but frown, "so they think someone is continously pranking us?"

"Yes."

"They are stupid to have made that conclusion."

"But there was a detective who seemed interested but he said something really weird."

"What did he say?"

"He examined the notes and told your mother that he could tell by the hand writing that the note was written by a young female in physical pain."

"What? How?"

"That's what the detective said. What young female would do this?"

"I have no idea," I whispered. Then I remembered something.

A conversation I had with Mum:

"Well, someone told me to give it to you."

"Who was it?"

"A woman," Mum turned to leave but I stopped her.

"Describe her."

"She had blond hair, dark eyes and petite figure."

"And so she randomly just left the note here?"

"Yes,"

"Mum saw her. I just thought she was sent to drop the note. I honestly didn't think it was her writing them."

"What? Slow down."

"A blonde woman came and gave a note to Mum and she told me but I just assumed she was a sender."

"Sender or not she is still part of the problem!"

"I know. Well I know now it's just-"

"You have been so stupid and so-"

"-Dad I get it!"

"Dont you dare have an attitude with me!"

"This is why I kept stuff from you because you get mad easily."

"Obviously I am getting mad. Your putting us in danger!"

"I know and stop shouting!"

"Shut the hell up! How dare you talk to me like-" Dad placed his hand on his chest before laying on his back. He started gasping loudly.

"Mum!" I shouted in panic.

Mum came rushing in and tried to help dad sit up.

"What have you done?"

"It was by accident," I cried before I  rushed down the stairs and out of the house.
