"A friend made it for me, think you should have it" he added. I smiled. I put it to my hip and a magnetic weapon holster activated and held it to my hip.
"Anyways, yeah, we're leaving in five minutes to the target. Shouldn't be too hard" Moxie said. I nodded. "Or we could leave now and quickly take them out" she suggested. "Sounds good" Jacob said, crossing his arms. Anderson nodded. "Sounds good, Moxie. Dusk, you ready?" Anderson asked.
"Yes sir" I responded. Anderson chuckled. "Alright, let's move team!" He said before picking a machine gun up and he walked to the front of the hanger, we followed. And Ghost de-materialised.
'Good luck, Guardian' Ghost said.
Everyone else in the team took a run and jump before hovering in the air. I took a deep breath and I took a run and jump and hovered in the air.
So far so good..
We flew to the forest surrounding the base/facility and landed near a lake. Moxie suddenly went invisible. She's a assassin so I suppose it makes sense. She would have stealth tech built in, or modded in.
I took the revolver off my hip. "By the way, the gun's called the Ace of Spades" Arkus whispered to me, I nodded. "So, where are these targets?" Jason asked. "Just in that ruined base over there" Anderson responded, pointing at a nearby base. "Alright. We'll go around the front and make a distraction while taking some out. Dusk you go around the back, there should be some vents or something for you to get in" Jacob said. I nodded and made my way to the back of the base.
I did find a vent which I hovered up to and I climbed in, I just barely fit.
As I crawled through it I hated it. "I don't like this.." I muttered. Afraid of getting stuck. 'I know, but it shouldn't be too long until we're out' Ghost assured me.
Eventually I reached a vent gate, I could see some humans wearing rough military gear, they were on alert. 'What now?' I asked in my head. 'Uh..I dunno..' Ghost responded.
Instinct..Or code..Kicked in and I punched the vent-cover in, knocking it off of the wall and I took aim at one of the soldiers and fired, taking him out.
I kicked back and flew out of the vent before shooting at the other guard and I took him out.
I stood up and I went back to normal. 'Woah..What was that?' Ghost asked. 'I have no idea' I responded.
I looked around the room and saw a metal-power locked door to my left, and on my right was a door that was welded shut. I walked over to the metal-power-locked door and tried to pull it open. And failed. My Ghost materialised next to me and floated over to a control panel for the door.
"Let me try something.." Ghost said as he fired beams of data at the panel, and after a few seconds the door slid open as it's locks were disabled. "There!" Ghost said before de-materialising.
I walked through the now open door and into a hallway. As I walked down I could hear faint gunfire.
'Guess their raining hell out there, makes our job easier' Ghost said. I nodded.
I walked into a room and fired at two hostile guards, taking them out. 'Nicely done!' Ghost cheered.
I noticed a ladder that I climbed up, when I got to the top I saw it was a control tower for the facility. Though it was out of power.
I looked out of a window and saw Arkus, Anderson and Jacob under heavy fire. 'We should help them' I said to Ghost in my head. 'Okay, according to my scans on your body, you have weaponry systems on arm-like systems that are currently retracted into your back. Try use those and take those enemies out' Ghost responded as he highlighted a menu in my HUD.
I opened the menu and selected a option and two weapon-mount-arm things extended out of my back.

I in instinct fired a laser at one of the enemies. Killing them instantly, I then rapidly fired at the other hostiles I could see. The window I was looking through was destroyed at the first shot. "Woah! Holy crap!" Jacob shouted.
"I didn't know you could do that!" Arkus shouted up. "Neither did I!" I responded.
"Good job kid! Saved our asses!" Anderson said.
I heard something walk behind me, I turned around and saw Moxie. She walked up to the window. "Okay, I think that's everyone here dead, let's get the hell out?" she asked. Anderson nodded. "Yeah, lets"
We double-checked and went to leave when I was shot in the shoulder, I turned around and I was kicked to the ground and held at gunpoint by a random unit like the others, though he had clearly went rouge.
"Oi! Let him go!" Anderson demanded. The unit shot me in the side. "Shut up and hear my demands!" the unit growled as he grabbed me and forced me to my feet as he held his shotgun to my back.
"Okay..What are your demands?" Arkus asked. "Leave and gather tech to hand over, or I will gun this..Whatever he is down" the unit growled.
I elbowed the unit and tried to free myself. The unit unloaded several shells into my back, damaging a lot of my systems. I managed to draw the Ace of Spades and I unloaded the clip into the unit's chest. "Holy sh-" The unit started before he dropped dead.
"Holy...Dusk are you okay?" Arkus asked walking over. I nodded weakly, it hurts.
We flew back to the facility, or tried to..
When we got quarter-way a storm started, and when we got half way. I was struck with a lightning bolt, it fried most of my systems and my core. Before I blacked out I saw a Universe Shift happen. And I couldn't stop it.
