The next day I walked up to all my friends like I usually do.

"Hey everyone!" I said cheerfully.

"Hey" they all smiled back.

"Is anyone down to go to the arcade?" Lisa asks.

"I'd love to Lisa but I've gotta work on my math project" Slater says, sarcastically.

"Talk about leaving it for the last minute" Jessie says.

"Well too bad mama your helping me work on it!" Slater says.

"Well the rest of us can go Lisa!" I say trying to lighten the mood, I couldn't listen to Slater and Jessie fight anymore.

"Okay sounds good" she smiles.

"Do you have any lip balm I can borrow?" Kelly asks.

"Kelly is that even a question? I've always got lip balm" Lisa says.

We all laugh a little.

"Well I'm gonna head to class early" I say.

"Alright bye!" They say and I make my way to class.

Once I get there I pull out a book and start reading but I'm soon interrupted by one of the nerds.

"You took my seat!" He says.

"Oh sorry I didn't realize they were assigned" I say sarcastically.

"Yo beat it" Zack says coming to sit down next to me.

The nerd then goes to find another seat.

"I would've given up my seat" I say.

Zack laughed. "Well now you don't need to"

I rolled my eyed and continued reading.

I felt him starring.

"Take a picture It'll last longer" I say.

"Too bad I left my camera at home" he says back.

The bell then rings and class starts.

I didn't really listen during the lesson I was kinda spaced out.

After the school day ended I headed over with Kelly and Lisa to the arcade, there we would meet Zack and Screech.

Once we got there we got some drinks and coins and started play some of the games.

"Hey Katie, bet you can't beat me in basketball" Zack says to me.

"Your on preppy" I say grabbing his hand and dragging him over to the hoops game.

I hadn't realized I grabbed his hand until I had to let go to put my coin in the game.

We started and I was beating Him already by a few shots.

After the minute of playing ended I took the win.

"Take that" I say giving him a light playful punch on the shoulder.

"You got lucky" he half smiling.

"Ya I guess I am" I say back, half smiling back at him.

He starts to move closer to me.

I moved closer to.

He started to lean in.

Was I about to kiss Zack Morris?

The Zack Morris I've hated for years?

"Hey guys! I just won 100 tickets!" Screech says popping up between me and Zack.

Well the moment was now ruined.

"That's great Screech! Let's go see what we can trade them in for!" I smile and walk over to the small stand with Screech.

After we turned in our tickets I headed home.

I couldn't get my mind off Zack, I've never felt like this towards a guy before.

Especially not towards Zack.

I hated him, or that's at least what I told myself.

I told myself a goodnights sleep would fix all of this, I would feel nothing for him and everything would go away in the morning.
