"Good morning ladies" Slater says coming by and opening his locker.

"Good morning" I say.

"Morning papa" Jessie says kissing his cheek.

"Good morning Slater" Kelly says.

"Morning" Lisa says fixing her hair in her mirror.

"Do I look okay?" She asks

"You look perfect! Why who is the lucky guy?" I ask.

"No one! Just doing it for myself" she says smiling and closing her mirror.

"As well as you should Lisa" Jessie says giving me a glare.

Jessie is a feminist.

"What's up gang?" Zack says coming over wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"Remove your arm before you loose it" I whispered to him.

He removed it and smiled at the rest of us.

"Are we still going to the max after school?" Slater asks.

"I'm free to go!" I say.

"Same here" Zack says.

"Can't, my brother has a soccer game I have to go to" Kelly says.

"I'm working on a protest" Jessie says.

"When are you not?" Slater says.

Jessie rolls her eyes.

"Shouldn't you be rolling around in mud?" Jessie says back to Slater.

"I've never seen a couple fight so much!" Lisa says "but ya I'm free to go to the max"

"Okay, what about Screech?" Slater asks.

"Where even is he?" I ask.

Just as if on time Screech comes flying down the stairs.

"My pocket protector is missing!" He yells.

I laugh. "Screech you left it in your locker yesterday"

"Oh ya that's right! Thanks Katie!" He says.

"Screech, you coming to the max later with us?" Zack asks.

"Yep" he says.

Then the first bell of the day rings and were off to class.

I didn't hate school. Most of the time I actually enjoyed it.

I also wasn't dumb either, I was pretty smart considering I also did a lot of extra activities on the side.

I was a cheerleader, student council Vice President (Jessie was President) and I also helped run some of the schools fundraisers.

"Hey, can you pass me a pencil? I forgot mine in my locker" Slater taps me on the shoulder.

"Ya sure" I say passing one back to him.

"Thanks" he says.

The day goes on like usual then finally the last bell rings.

I grab my stuff from my locker.

Once I had everything I closed up my bag and started walking towards the front door.

Once I arrived at the Max I went over to the normal spot we sit at and was greeted by Lisa, Screech and Zack.

"Where's Slater? Wasn't he supposed to meet us here?" I ask sitting down next to Lisa across from Zack and Screech.

"He got caught up fixing a car" Lisa replies pushing me over a soda they must've ordered for me.

I nod my head to thank her.

"Lisa, my darling can I get you something?" Screech asks.

"Ya, get lost" Lisa says rolling her eyes.

I laugh and so does Zack.

"Well I'm gonna head home for dinner. I'll see you guys later" Lisa says.

"I'll escort my girl" Screech says.

Lisa rolls her eyes yet again.

I smirk at her and her and Screech walk away.

I look over at Zack who has a smirk on his face.

"Take that smirk off your face or I'll do it for you" I say.

"Please do" Zack says with a wink.

"Your disgusting" I say getting up and walking out.
