Ch 8:The Stone Dungeon

Several days have passed and the end of the school year was vastly approaching

"I've always heard Hogwarts' end of the year exams were frightful, but I found that rather enjoyable" Hermione smiled as the group walked down the courtyard

"Speak for yourself that was miserable. You alright there Harry?" Ron says looking over to Harry who is holding his scar

"My scar. It keeps burning" he says wincing

"Its happened before hasn't it?" Y/n questions

"Not like this" he responds shaking his head

"Perhaps you should see the nurse" Ron suggests

"I think it's a warning. It means dangers coming" Harry says as he grunts and rubs his scar

"Hey I just thought of something" Y/n says

"What is it?" Hermione asks

"Don't you think it's a bit odd that what Hagrid wants more than anything is a dragon, and a stranger shows up and just happens to have one?" Y/n says as they approach Hagrid's hut. " I mean, how many people wander around with dragon eggs in their pockets? Why didn't I see it before?" The group arrive at Hagrid's hut who siys outside his home. "Hagrid, who gave you the dragon egg? what did he look like and what did he where?"

"I don't know. I never saw his face. He kept his hood up" Hagrid responds looking at the kids

"The stranger, though, you and he must have talked" Harry says

"Well, he wanted to know what sort of creatures I looked after. I told him. I said, After Fluffy, a dragon's gonna be no problem" Hagrid tells the group with a big smile

"Did he seem to interested in Fluffy?" Y/n asks

"Well, of course he was interested in Fluffy! How often do you come across a three headed dog, even if you're in the trade? But I told him. I said, The trick with any beast is to know how to calm him. Take Fluffy, for example, just play him a bit of music and he falls straight to sleep" Hagrid says

"Are you kidding me Hagrid?" Y/n says as he shakes his head sighing

"I shouldn't had told ya that" Hagrid says as the group runs off. "Where ya goin?"

The group runs down the hall and and they go to Mcgonagall and ask to see Dumbledore who was not around at the time. Afterwards they continue to walk through a hall

"That was no stranger Hagrid met in the village. It was Snape, which means he knows how to get past Fluffy" Harry says with a determined face

"And with Dumbledore gone..." Hermione pauses

"Good afternoon" Snape says appearing behind them. "Now, what would three young Gryffindors and a Slytherin such as yourselves be doing inside on a day like this?"

"Uh... we were just" Hermione stutters trying to come up with an excuse

"What does it matter to you?" Y/n says

"You continue to misbehave towards your house Headmaster... I have to say I'm not surprised. Much like your father; always a tendency to get into trouble

"Don't compare me to him" Y/n says in a growl getting a smirk from Snape

"You want to be careful. People will think you're... scheming" Snape says before leaving

"Now what're we gonna do?" Hermione asks

"We go down that trapdoor tonight" Y/n says angrily. "Meet me in the third floor near the first torch
