Ch.2:Slytherin

3rd POV
After the train had arrived, the students all walked outside and where welcomed by a giant bearded man standing by the door with a lantern in his hands

"Right then!" He exclaimed as he smiled. "First years this way please. Come now don't be shy" he says as he walks down a path and as they follow him

The students, as well as the big man who introduced himself has Hagrid, all walked down to the docks where many boats sat waiting

"Well now take a seat and get into groups of four" Hagrid says as he sits in one of the boats causing it to rock from his weight. "Well come on we ain't got all night"

All of the students began to group up and sat in boats together. Y/n sat in a boat by himself but was later joined by Hermione, Harry, and Ron

"Do you mind if we joined you?" Ron asks as he sits down

"Looks like you've made yourself comfortable already" Y/n says

Hermione took a seat next to Y/n and Harry and Ron sat across from them facing the front if the boat while Y/n and Hermione sat facing the back

"So what house do you hope to be in?" Ron asks the group

"I hope I'm put in Gryiffindor or Ravenclaw myself" Hermione says then turns to Y/n

"What about you?" Ron asks as he turns to Y/n as well

"I personally don't care" Y/n says as he rests his head in his hand, leaning on the side of the boat

"Oh... well what about you Harry?" Ron asks still looking at Y/n before turning to Harry

"I haven't really thought... about..." Harry starts to slow down and comes to a complete stop as bright lights reflect of his eyes

This causes Y/n to look up and notice the two looking up with in awe. He turns his head to Hermione who us completely turned around. Y/n then turns his body around and comes to view of the castle that is shinging bright with lanterns. After the boat ride had ended, the students were led into the castle and were told to walk up the grand staircase where a professor was to await their arrival

"Welcome to Hogwarts" She says as we all come to a stop. "Now, in a few moments, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Now, while you are here, your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you house points. Any rule breaking, and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup" she explains before walking ahead and turns back. "The ceremony will begin momentarily" she says before taking her leave

As the professor left, a boy with slicked back blonde hair stand in front of Harry

"Its true then, what they were saying on the train.Harry Potter has come Hogwarts" he says making other students begin to whisper and talk amongst themselves. "This is Crabbe and this is Goyle" he says introducing the two behind him. "And I'm Malfoy... Draco Malfoy" he introduces himself causing Ron to snicker. "Oh think my name is funny do ya? No need to ask yours. Let's see hand me down robes and red hair. You must be a Weasley"

"Wow" Y/n says to himself as he quietly laughs and shakes his head

"Well soon find that some wizarding families are better than others, Potter. Don't want to go make friends with the wrong sorts. I can help you there" he says extending his hand forward

"I can tell who the wrong sorts are for myself thanks" Harry retorts causing Draco to scowl

"We're ready for you now" the Professor says as she taps Draco's shoulder and they all follow her into the hall
