"Rough morning ?"

Her keys dangles in her fingers as she is stunned to her place, infront of her door. Million questions run through her head first and foremost being why the hell is here?followed by where is her mother? Her eyes roam around only to snap back at him as he asks again.

She raises her eyebrow only to look down as he rakes his eyes all over her body down to her feet. She purses her lips before saying "None of your business. What are you doing here?"

He turns on his feet showing her his back as he picks up the contrct. He turns to his side showing her the booklet as he asks " I see you have touched it. Was worried , I would have to force you"

"I haven't made my mind yet"she says instead, going straight to the point wanting him to leave her alone although it was pointless. She knows Karan really well and if he is here in her house then he is not going just yet. And he hasn't come to chit-chat.

"Still hung up on him I see" he says slamming the contract on the table before facing her. She curls her fists on her side ,anger boiling at the mention of Harshad.

" Dont take his name" she states rather authoratively.

" I am only stating the facts honey. Aren't I ?" Karan only chuckles stepping closer to her ,right in her face as he continues
"Now smile a little . Dont want to have wrinkles on this pretty face of yours. You know as I've booked you a nice old photoshoot. Gotta look pretty"

"I am on a break" she mutters trying to stay as calm as she can but wanting nothing but to wring the man's neck. She had planned to confront him but he is right here doing the same to her.

"And the wedding is done. So is your break"he smirks back at her folding his arms over his chest as he retaliates with satisfaction.

"I never sa..." Jennifer shakes her head only to be cut off as he moves closer ,the hint of mischief in his eyes. And she can very well say she has seen devil reincarnated.

"You said you wanted to go to a wedding. You didn't mention you wanted to play house"

"More like housebreaker" he continues surprising her.

He steps back with a smirk before turning away from her as he mocks , his voice turning all sad as he says  "Poor Alia... What she will do ? How she will feel when she comes to know her dear old friend is roping her dear old boyfriend"

"You wouldn't dare" Jennifer moves forward anger boiling in her. She knows he will do it. He will destroy everything.

"As a matter of fact I would"

"You've no proof" she says crossing her arms over her chest now trying to show he doesn't control her.

" I dont. But I dont need those. But it is true isn't it."he turns around now facing her. He is not that far away from her.

He drags his finger on her cheek and she wants to get away qith disgust but stays stoic as his words crash her down "Knew you wouldn't be able to help yourself. Little old Jenny ..... With her one true love "

" Does he know you though ? Does he know the real you ?" he moves closer ,circling her in one stop as he tilts his head with a fake innocent look as he asks ,both of them having the answers to his questions already.

" Wait. More important question ,is he in love with you or it is just se.." he says putting his finger on his own chin as if he is thinking and Jennifer pushes him away as she states "You've no right Karan"

"My life is none of your business" she says ,not wanting to be controlled like this as fear envelopes her mind. Before she can think she is pulled back to a hard chest and Karan whispers , his arms holding her tightly to him hurting her "That's where you are wrong. You see Ms.Winget ,your life is infact all my business" he spins her around before grabbing her chin tightly " dont you forget"

" Or you know I've means to happily remind you" he smiles and pulls his hands away .

" I am reading the scripts, I am not doing that shoot." Jennifer states , keeping her side of the bargain. She did tell him she will read before.

"Demonstration is in order it seems" he smiles innocently and before she can even process he grabs her pulling her to him harshly ,his fingers digging into her skin hurting her.

"Perhaps I wasn't clear enough" he mumbles and tears the sleeve of her blouse grabbing her neck as he says
"Why you always bring out the wild side of me ,my darling ?"

"Its okay. I will just have a nice chat with Harshad. From ex-boyfriend to the ne-"he pulls away leaving her shaking in fear once again and smiles stepping back slowly , putting his hands up.

"Fine !" she closes her eyes not able to meet his. Every fiber in her body is disgusted by him ,by herself and anger is boiling but she cannot let him do this to her. She cannot let him tell anything to Harshad. She cant bare to see the look in his eyes ,she will die if she ever sees them. She is scared to even think how that look will be and what it will be intent. And she will also not let him destroy Harshad's life.  

"Yes?"

She feels weak with anger hearing the smirk in his voice and she nods brokenly, having lost the battle yet again.

" I will do the shoot" she confirms gulping as she looks at him.

"Good. Its in two days. We are leaving tomorrow. Prepare all your goodbyes" he claps smiling widely and leaves after saying "We will meet soon, Darling"

She grabs the desk behind her as she rests closing her eyes as everything hits her. Realising what she got herself into.

Her phone rings with a message bringing her out of her racing thoughts. With teary eyes she takes the phone only to see Harshad's name flashing on the screen.

She stays frozen not opening the message as tears slide down her eyes.

Will she ever be happy ? .

A/n

.aaahhhh i am on an update mode. Its been ages since i got back to this story. Fun fact : i have few chaps written here and there but nothing is continuous or in flow . Only ideas .

It feels great to be back here.
