*Laughs*
"A 'Zombie virus' yeah right"
|Hey can I have my Caramel Latte please?|
A voice breaks into Macinas thoughts
"Oh! Yes sorry!"
She quickly responded as she hands the customer his latte.
"Sorry about that sir, I got caught up in the news!"
|Oh it's fine. People are going crazy right now over this, so I don't blame you... You should probably get some supplies and stock up at home|
He suggested.
"I-I don't have a home... I'm an orphan"
She replied grimly.
|Oh. Sorry about that|
The guys face looked empathetic
"It's fine! I'm used to it"
|Well alright|
"Have a good day!"

As she heard the customers farewell she noticed the time.
"Oh my shift was over Ten minutes ago... Whoops!"
And with that note she hung up her apron and left the coffee shop.
"Zombie virus"
*Chuckles*
"Yeah right I doubt it...
I might as well head to the store, and maybe get some cans of chili to eat for the next few weeks...
Yeah good plan"
She began to walk to the store and quickly noticed that the parking lot was crowded.
"Jeez people must be needing stuff today"
She walked into the store, and was greeted by a sight of long lines, and people with full carts of toilet paper, and canned goods.
"People must be taking this whole 'Zombie virus' Seriously."
She commented out loud as she walked to the canned goods aisle.
"What the... The shelfs are almost empty! Wow"
<Yep sure is a 'Wow' moment>
Commented a girl with short dirty blonde hair.
"People are panicking!"
They both laugh
<Yep! Hey follow me I'll hook you up a few things>
"Huh? How?"
She asked questionly
<Stealing from the back room... Lots of kids are doing it>
"Nah I'm fine"
She said hesitantly

The girl walked away towards the back room of the store.
"I hope she doesn't actually steal"
Macina walked out of the store but quickly was pulled aside by someone.
"WHAT THE HECK!"
<Shh>
Sirens sounded is the distance
<Here take these>
She handed Macina five cans of chili
"W-What?"
<You need it>
The girl responded before running away
"Ok thanks I guess"
The sirens got closer but by then Macina was already walking towards the forest.
"Home sweet home"
She said before sighing and walking into a small cave near the edge of town...
