Y/N POV

I was at home when I received a phone call, so I picked it up.

???: "Hello, miss Y/n?"

Y/n: "Yes, that's me."

???: "I am calling to inform you that you have been chosen as the 8th member of BTS."

I blinked twice and asked, "Sorry, what did you say?"

???: "You have been chosen as the 8th member of BTS. You will be sent details as to where to go this Thursday."

The phone hung up and I sat there frozen for at least a minute.

... Is this a joke? A prank?

... Maybe I should check the TV..?

I turned on the TV and there it was.

The 8th member of BTS has been chosen.

The name wasn't there, for safety purposes, as the new member might want to leave.

I got out my phone and called my best friend and she picked up a few seconds later.

Hyuna: "Hey, Y/n! Have you heard, the new member of BTS has been chosen!"

Y/n: "Yeaahhhh about that... I JUST HAD A CALL SAYING THAT I'M THE NEW MEMBER"

Hyuna: "Oh my god really?!"

Y/n: "YES! BUT HOW?! I DIDN'T EVEN SIGN UP!"

Hyuna: "Oh, hehe about that..."

Y/n: "...Don't tell me... "

Hyuna: "I sighed you up!!"

Y/n: "WTF WHY?! YOU KNOW I STRUGGLE WARMING UP TO PEOPLE, AND THIS IS BTS WE'RE TALLING ABOUT!"

Hyuna: "Y/n, you're really talented but you're just shy! You'll get used to them."

Y/n: "GET USED TO THEM?! THEY'RE. BTS."

Hyuna: "Look, I gotta go. Call me and tell me how it is when you get there!"

She hung up the call and I yelled her name.

... How the hell am I going to get through this..?!

I'm going to embarrass myself!!"

I grabbed my hair in frustration and messed up my hair.

TIME SKIP - THURSDAY

I decided to wear black skinny high-waist jeans with a white flowery shirt and a black leather jacket. I wore some light makeup as I don't need to put on much anyways.

I walked into the Big Hit building and went up the receptionist.

Y/n: "Annyeonghaseyo, I'm the new member. Y/n."

She checked something then said, "Okay, wait right here, I'll get someone to take you to the dorms where the boys are staying, they are on break this month."

I nodded then waited and after a minute the manager came and drove me to the dorms.

Manager: "So, Y/n, it might take a while to get used the boys, but I'm sure you will fit right in."

I smiled and nodded, then he lead me inside the dorms.

Manager: "Wait right here, please."

I waited and a minute later all the boys came out to the main room we were in.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD I'M LITERALLY STANDING IN FRONT OF BTS OH MY GOD

Manager: "This is Y/n, I presume you know the boys Y/n?"

I nodded and looked down shyly.

V: "Aw she's cutee"

I blushed at his comment and he awwed even more.

Manager: "Please open up to her and help her fit in, she seems pretty shy already."

He smiled and patted my shoulder then left.

...Oh meh gawd I'm gonna faint...

Tae ran up to me and pinched my cheeks saying, "Cuteee"

Jimin smacked his arm off and said, "Yah, contain yourself."

He pouted and I smiled at his cuteness.

RM: "So.. Y/n.. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?"

Y/n: "Um I'm 21, I can dance and sing pretty well."

JH: "21? She's younger than most of us, except Jungkook."

...Oh yea where is Jungkook..?

I looked around for him and saw him behind Yoongi gripping on his shirt.

Is he... Scared..?

Oh yea Jungkook's afraid of girls.. I thought that was a joke tho.

Jungkook must have noticed me looking at him and he widened his eyes.

Yoongi noticed too and he sighed and pulled Jungkook in front of him and said, "Don't be such a scaredy cat, Jungkook."

Tae: "You're the cat." ~he giggled cutely

Yoongi: "I swear you better shut the f-"

Jin: "Language." ~he frowned

Yoongi rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

Jimin: "Soooo, how about we teach Y/n here one of our choreographies, you can dance well right?"

Y/n: "Yeah, I can learn pretty fast too.."

RM: "Great." ~he smiled "Let's go."

They taught me the dance to Not Today and I got the grisp of it within an hour.

JH: "Wow, you're a really fast learner, Y/n. Let's rehearse now."

We rehearsed and it was almost perfect.

We all collapsed on the floor panting after all the hard work.

V: "Woah Y/n you're amazing! Great job!"

I thanked him and smiled.

...I seem to fit in pretty well...

Maybe I'll be fine after all.
