I woke up the next morning I was really tired. I didn't go to sleep until like 7. It was already 2:30pm. It was okay though. I grabbed my phone. I went on Instagram. Liangelo deleted all his pictures with her. I don't even know how to feel to be honest. I'm happy, but i dont know. I had a text from Liangelo and Chelsea.
Liangelo: good afternoon 😇
Chelsea: impulsively bought DaBaby concert tickets last night for his concert tonight .... come with ! 🥴
I answered them both and got up to get ready for the day. I put on some regular jean shorts and a T-shirt, I put my hair in a low bun and walked downstairs.
"hey mom, where's dad" I said
"he left early this morning had some work stuff in Sacramento today" she said
I nodded
"are you ready for tomorrow" my mom asked referring to my try outs for all star
"yeah still kind of nervous though" I said
"You shouldn't be you're gonna do great" she said
"are you and dad coming" I asked
"yes of course" she said
I smiled "Well my friend Chelsea is on the team, so she's of course coming, and Liangelo is coming too"
She looked at me weird "and so what happened with that"
"Nothing, we are just friends" I said
She nodded "it's better like that"
"Yeah I know, and also tonight I'm going to a concert with Chelsea" I said
"Don't you think you should be resting for your try outs tomorrow, because knowing Chelsea you won't be home till after midnight" she said
"Yeah but it'll be fine" I said
"Okay then just be careful, I'm heading to the salon all day. Are you getting your hair and nails done today" she asked
"Yeah I'll be over in a little while" I said
"Okay, just come and I'll get you set"
I nodded and kissed her cheek then walked back upstairs
I got a FaceTime call from Liangelo ...
"Hey" I said answering
"Good morning" he said
I chuckled "definitely 3 pm, but okay"
"I just woke up it's good morning for me" he said laughing
"what are you doing today" I asked
"nothing it's Sunday, let's go eat" he said
"Yeah let's go, and then you should come with me to my moms salon. I'm getting my hair done and nails" I said
"Uhhhhhhhh I don't know about all that" he said laughing
"Please" I begged
"fine" he said "I'm gonna take a shower and I'll text you"
I put some light makeup on and waited for him to text me. When he did I walked outside and got in his car.
"my turn" I said and took the aux
He chuckled and drove off
I put on "while we're young" by Jhene Aiko. I love her.
We drove to the restaurant, we were going to eat at this diner. He put his hand on my thigh and squeezed it lightly. He is so smooth. I just let him. It was kind of nice actually.
"oh I'm going to this concert tonight" I said
He looked at me "shouldn't you take the night off, especially since tour try outs are tomorrow. Save your energy"
"yeah.. but I don't know chels invited me, and she wants me to go because like her boyfriend had bought tickets already for him and Jules and yeah" I said quietly
He looked at me "I don't know Ava, whatever you wanna do"
"If I don't go, you have to come over and hang out with me" I said and smiled
"that was my plan anyways" he said
I texted Chelsea and told her. She completely understood, she invited our friend Leah instead. We got to the diner and ate our lunch. We headed to my moms Salon. We walked in and I didn't even realize we were holding hands, until my mom looked at us. We both let go.
"Hey mom" I said
"Hey, Hey Liangelo, how are you" she said and smiled
"Hi Mrs.Sanders" he said and smiled nervously
"want to do your nails to ?" She asked
"oh no I just came with Ava" he said
"You can do yours too, it'll be fun, just clear nail polish" I said
He shrugged "if you want me to"
My mom took us to the pedicure section, and the ladies came to do our feet.
"I can't believe I'm doing this" he said
I chuckled "it's normal"
"I know, Lamelo does it, I just never thought I'd do it" he said
He took his phone out and took a Snapchat video
We did our nails as well. I got a really natural gel polish on my own nails because of cheer tryouts, I couldn't have any acrylic. Liangelo did clear of course. My mom started to do my hair, Liangelo just chilled next to me on his phone. It took about a couple hours to do my hair. I thought Liangelo would get impatient but he was so calm and honestly didn't even care.
"I'm done, do you like" I asked Liangelo showing him my hair
"Hell yeah, it looks mad nice, you look gorgeous" he said
I smiled "thank you, and thanks for waiting"
"Of course" he said "so do we have to pay"
I shook my head "nope, but I just like to tip the ladies"
I took my wallet out
"No here" Liangelo said
"No, stop" I said and turned around
"Ava here, you stop, come on" he said "I'm not gonna put the money away so just take it"
"Fine but I'll give it back to you in the car" I said
Yeah yeah whatever" he said
I walked over to the ladies who did mine and Liangelo's nails, I gave them each 40, and the lady who did my hair a 60.
"Okay mom I'm leaving" I said
"Okay, are you going to that concert" she asked
"No actually I'm just gonna be at home tonight, is it okay If Liangelo is over" I asked
"Yeah sure" she said "I'll be home late anyways, my last client isn't until 8, and who knows when I'll be done so"
I nodded "okay I'll see you later then"
"Bye, bye Liangelo" she said
"Bye, thank you" he said
We walked back to his car, and drove to our neighborhood.
"Ashley is over" he said
I looked at him
"It's okay, we can go to my house for a couple hours, and then come here and have our time" he said knowing I wanted to hang out with Ashley "come" he said
We went to his house first. We walked in, again, holding hands. Neither of us realized we were until they looked down at our hands. We let go.
"let me see them toes" Lamelo said laughing
Liangelo took his shoes off and showed him
"Damn I might have to go to your moms salon, get my shit done" he said "how much were they"
"I didn't pay anything" Liangelo said
"Oh shit I'm definitely going If she giving me a discount" Lamelo said
I laughed "she will"
I walked over to Ashley and hugged her, and laid with her
"I missed you" she said
"I missed you more" I said
"I'm gonna pretend I'm not mad you took Liangelo to get your hair and nails done, and not me" she said
I chuckled "baby don't be mad at me"
The boys look at us.
"What the hell is wrong with y'all" Lamelo said
We laughed
Liangelo came out his room shirtless "let me play" he said to Lamelo
"Ooooooo" I said and went to hug Liangelo
He laughed
"ew" Lamelo said "so are y'all dating or something"
"No" we both said
Liangelo started playing video games with Lamelo. I was just chilling with Ashley talking and stuff. By the time they stopped playing it was already almost 10pm. I was getting kind of tired and I still had to pack my bag for tomorrow. The tryouts were early in the morning. Right after my cheer conditions for UCLA.
I walked to Liangelo and told him I was leaving.
"Yo I'll be back pause it" he said to Lamelo
"Bye melo" I said
"Byeeee" he said
We walked outside, he walked me to my door.
"what time should I be at your tryouts" he asked
"around 10" I said
He nodded "you're gonna do so good"
"I hope so" I said and smiled slightly
"you will, you have to go right to sleep. I'll see you tomorrow. Text me okay" he said and kissed my forehead
"Okay" I said and smiled "goodnight"
"Goodnight"
He waited until I went inside, then walked back home. He has workouts in the evening around 6 pm with the golden state warriors, at their home gym. So he has to leave right after my tryouts since it's a 6 hour drive. He's going with his dad and Melo. I'm just glad he's going to be there.
