"I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing
Roman Calvary choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain..
I know Saint Peter won't call me name
Never an honest word...
But that was when I ruled the world..."

Koral sighs, looking in her drawer. She stared into it, wiping her face. "This again..."
She had just gotten home, and decided to clean a little and get her stress out.
Koral slowly took off her lab coat, hanging it on her closet door. She stood in her bra and shorts, emptying her drawer into piles. What she needs to keep, what she wants to keep, what she can throw away, and what she wants to burn alive.
She suddenly finds some beat up pictures, pulling them out.
Koral pauses.

Back in the past, Koral was as naive as she could be. She had a boyfriend and a group of friends. He was her dream. Red hair, precious freckles, tall, glasses, and great at biology.
But all it took was one incident to make her realize.
It was the years finals, and she had been overly busy to study. Not only did she have to get DNA testing done to prove to her new doctor that a squid and octo successfully had a kid, but her friends were harassing her to help them study.
Koral didn't have the time, and ended up winging the test.
The next day in class, the teacher announced the grades. 100%, 99%, 72%, and so forth. But then she read a dreaded "14%"
They got their tests handed back, and Koral panicked. She was the 14%
When telling her boyfriend, he looked disgusted. He left her quick after that, as well as her friends. It finally clicked to Koral.
They know she had the memory, so...
They only loved her for the IQ

Koral shakes her head, wiping away those memories. She growls and rips apart the photos "I'll get that redheaded little shit someday..." She swears.

The twins laid in their soft fuzzy bed, sighing. "Im not in the mood for anything..." Tilly sighs.
"I know.." Millie whimpers "but we can't just let the day go to waste..."
The two heard their parents call them.
The two sit up and groan. "Again?"
They walk downstairs and see their parents at the table. The girls look at each other. They look down, and await their parents ignorant commentary.
The two sit down at their seats.
Their father looks at their clothes "did you two seriously go out like that?"
"Dad...we can't put on anything else..." Tilly sighs.
"Why? Because im sure those disabled boys on your little team love seeing those knockers!" He scolds.
"DISABLED!?" Millie stood up, growling. "They are not disabled!! And Warrior and Alex are the nicest boys we know!"
Their mother chimes in "ok then, what about those girls? The flexible one and the laughing stock?"
Millie looks at her mother "they're good friends, were not into any of them!!"
"Good. I don't wanna be raising a pair of fags" Their mother whispers.
Tilly freezes, and snarks. She spoons up some mashed potatoes and yells "DO NOT CALL ME A FAG! I'LL BE AS GAY AS I WANT AND WE WILL BE FRIENDS WITH WHOEVER WE DESIRE!" Tilly yanks Millie away, dragging her upstairs, tears going down their face.

Their father shakes his head "we should've taken the separation surgery...maybe then only one of them would be a failure..."

Eva walked up the road, towards her own home. Her brain was set, but she wasn't. She wanted to say three simple words and make her life so much happier, but it came at the cost of her respect.
She walked inside her house, getting quickly smothered by her parents.
"How was your day sweetie?" Her mom smiles.
"Very good. I feel amazing. Desti-" Eva gets disrupted.
"About...her" her mother sighs. "You two can hang out but....only as friends."
Eva froze "...what? Why!? She's amazing, she's cute, she's funny, she's brave...she treats me like her queen..."
"Well you can find yourself another King! No daughter of mine is dating a human! Not even a half breed!" her dad declares.
"But she's my best friend!" Eva whimpers
"Good. Lets keep it that way" Her father nods.
Eva lowers her ears and walks to her room, quietly accepting her fate.

-------------------------------

Desti looks out the window of her room. She was ready to go to bed, but noticed a large glowing star.
She opens the window, sticking her head out.
"Twinkle goes the little star. As I wish for one sweet thing. Make this prejudice last for never, bring us all some justice, and give us the magic we need to prove...please, at this point, its all I ask..."
Desti pulls her head back in, closing her window. "...its all I want anymore..."
