I woke up to the fluorescent lights and an uncomfortable bed. I got dress and I was putting on my shoes when Eric and Four came in
" everyone follow us "
We did and we went into this white room and they said

Eric said then Four cut him off
" ok this side come with me "
They left and the rest of us sat down and waited. I and Tess were the last ones

Eric said and she went back

I said and I sat there in silence waiting for the door to open and my name to be called. After what felt like an hour the door opened and a shaky sweaty Tess walked out with wide eyes. She looked up from the floor and saw me she ran over and hugged me and she had one of my arms pinned to my side I used my free hand to hold her head in a way

She did and I could see the pure terror in her eyes

She looked me in the eye for a minute and then she said

I was on the outside of the wall flames all around and I was somehow tied to a post and my hands were bound. I put my hands out and let the flames burn the rope and it licked my wrist a few times then it broke and I got free. suddenly I was looking at Tess standing on the edge of a building and she said

Then she fell back and when I ran to the edge I was looking at water and then it filled with water snakes I stood up and the little piece of land I was on started to sink. I looked around and saw a cliff not that far. I jumped into the water and started to swim to the cliff the snakes only above me not coming under eventually when I felt like my lungs and brain were going to betray me and make me take in the water I found an underwear cave. I went in and pulled myself out of the water and the snakes were gone. Suddenly the air was becoming thinner I looked up then back to where I came from and it was black and the air was slowly taken from my lungs. I sat down and closed my eyes my lungs filled with air and then I opened my eyes and there was Eric
" Eric "
" you really are stupid you know you really think you belong in Dauntless "
He laughed

He pulled out a gun and cocked it

He pulled the trigger and it was a blank and he was lagging like a little kid. I closed my eyes and when I opened them I was back home

My father clenched his first and suddenly he was beating me again and without thinking I punched him and he fell to the floor.
I shot up and I was back in the room and I looked at Eric and he looked stunned

I said still trying to calm down he looked down at his hands

He smiled and still looked at his hands
