Mj's POV

It's been two weeks since my encounter with Zion. I'm in the studio right now writing a song. I've been working on it since then. I have two more hours left before I have to go home. My friends want to do a little something since I'm three months today. Kian and Austin came up with the idea to document my pregnancy. My brother and Rone are suppose to come back tomorrow but they extended their leave. I guess they needed to stay. He wouldn't tell me why, guess it's classified. I talked to them this morning before they did their usual runs. It was a good video call. They both have gotten really tan. And not in a good way either. I laughed at how bad they tanned. I felt really happy talking to them. But for now I'm just trying to get this song recorded. I did the intro but it doesn't seem like my type of song. I groaned in frustration when I didn't like the way it sounded back. "God this doesn't suit my voice" I said to myself. I continued to play the song. I released a sigh I was holding in. "That sounds good" I heard. I turned around and there stood LANY. "Oh uh thanks. But it doesn't suit my voice." I said turning back around. He sat next to me and pointed to the paper. "May I?" He asked. "Go for it" I said. I sat back as he read it. "Wow this is good. Like really good" he replied. I smiled and nodded my head. "Is it about an ex?" He asked. "Yep. Cheated on me and went back to the girl he was with before me." I answered. "Hey, sing it for me. You obviously have a good voice" I said to him. "Are you sure?" He asked. "Yes yes now sing" I said. He laughed and went into the booth. I threw him a thumbs up and began to sing. "Holy shit" I mumbled to myself. When the song ended he came out. "How was it?" He asked sitting down. I looked at him amazed. "Have it" I said. He looked at me like I was crazy. "What?" He questioned. "Have the song. Your voice with song is
how i imagined it." I answered. He smiled "are you sure? Like 100% positive?" I smiled and nodded my head. "Yes! Let's record it now cause I have to leave in exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes." I said. "Okay let's do this!" He said. "Can I change a few lyrics?" He asked before going into the booth. "For sure!" I said. I watched as he wrote a few words. "Okay let's do this" he said. I smiled and worked my magic. 40 minutes later, we had recorded the song.

We sat down, preparing to listen to the finish product. "Ready?" I asked him. He nodded his head and began to play the song.

"Play track 16" I said before entering the booth. I put the headset on and waited for Lany to give me the thumbs up. I waited for the music to begin.

I stopped singing and let the music continue to play. I took the headset off and left the booth. I opened the door and Lany started clapping. I smiled and laughed. I took a bow and he laughed. "Girl that was good! You should release that song soon!" He said as I sat down. "I might, I just have to add more to the music and then let my management know." I replied. "I know how that is." He said rolling his eyes. I laughed and nodded my head. "I have a question. Were you really dating Zion from Prettymuch?" He asked. I looked away and then back to him. "Yeah" I said with no emotion. "He's one stupid bitch" he said smiling at me. Which caused me to smile. "Yeah he is" I said. We both broke out in laughter. I looked at the time, 3:23pm. "Well I have to get going. My friends want to document my pregnancy" I said before realizing what I just had said. I quickly looked at him. His eyes were wide. "Please don't tell anyone" I said looking at him. "I won't. I promise" he replied. I smiled and he gave me a hug. "I'll dm you on insta and we'll talk more!" He said as I pulled away. I smiled and nodded my head as I walked towards the door.
