Chapter 13

A week had passed since me and Nash had started dating. He'd been in North Carolina for the week, so that he could spend thanksgiving with his family and today was the day he was coming back. I couldn't wait to see him again, I missed him so much. I'm supposed to be at his place around 5 pm, he said he has a surprise for me. I'm really curious in what the surprise might be. Although I'm also nervous that my dad wouldn't let me go since he hasn't met him yet. If he doesn't want me to go I'll just pretend I'm going to Amanda's house.
I had just finished putting on some light makeup. I don't like to wear too much makeup, I only wear mascara and some times foundation, but that's it. It also happens a lot that I don't put any at all. I had just washed my hair and it was really pretty so I decided to let it natural for today.
I couldn't believe how warm it was for December, I'm still not used to that. I decided I would wear a green flannel and black jeans. I rolled the bottom of my jeans and slipped my white Nike shoes on. I went to my brother's room and knocked on his door.

"What?" He asked me when he opened the door.

"I need a ride."

"Come on Eva..." He whined.

"Please Dylan! I'm getting my license as soon as I'm 16 so soon you won't have to drive me everywhere."

"Fine. Where are you going?"

"Nash's place. Unless dad doesn't agree with it, then I'm going to Amanda's place."

"Let's go." He cut me off, clearly he doesn't care.

"No, not now. But soon." I told him and he sighed.

I went downstairs in the kitchen and grabbed a cookie. I'm really hungry. I sat on a chair and went on Instagram. I liked a few pictures and when I finished my cookie, I stood up and searched for my dad. He was in his office again.

"Dad?"

"Yes sweetie?"

"I'm going to a friends house and I won't be back until after diner."

"As long as you're not going to see your boyfriend it's fine with me." He told me and I bit my lip.

Should I lie to him and go or not bother?

Lie to him.

"No problem, see you later!"

I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to open the door. Nash lived in a nice building, I'm just afraid it's gonna be really messy inside, since he told me he lived in there with his friend Cameron and an other guy. After a few minutes, he finally opened the door and smiled brightly as he gave me a hug.

"I missed you so much babe." He said before he kissed me.

"I missed you too." I told him after we pulled apart.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me inside his apartment. He closed the door and sat beside me on the couch. Eh, it's not that messy.

"So um..."

"You want your surprise?" He laughed.

"Ya..." I laughed.

"MATT COME DOWN HERE!" He shouted.

Wait a second. Matt's here? That's my surprise. Oh my god I can't believe Matt is here, I missed him so much. I turned around to face the stairs and saw Matt running down them.

"MATT!" I said before I jumped in his arms.

"EVA!" He said and hugged me tightly. "It's so good to see you."

Nash coughed a little, just to let us know he's still here. Aw, poor baby is jealous of all the attention I'm giving Matt.

"She's my girlfriend man." He said and I gave him a look that meant "not now please".
