Pizza.

I was dreaming that I was eating pizza when my alarm went off. I totally forgot it was Monday. And by that, I mean I totally forgot I would have to wake up.

You see, when you spent your entire summer not caring at what time you go to bed and also not caring at what time you wake up, and then you have to wake up at 6 a.m to go to school, it's kinda... Frustrating. But I guess I don't have a choice.

I get out of bed and look at myself in the mirror. I look horrible as fuck so today's goal is to look okay. Just so that I don't scare people off on my first day of sophomore year.

I open my closet and grab my clothes for today. My look consists of ripped boyfriend jeans and a black shirt.

Then, I apply my makeup and straighten my hair. I go down the stairs and into the kitchen to grab my breakfast.

"Good morning sweetie." My mom says after taking a sip of her coffee.

"Good morning."

I grab a chocolate chip muffin and pour myself a glass of orange juice.

"Are you happy to go back to school?" My mom asks me.

My mom is always really happy. I've practically never seen her mad or even upset in my 15 years of living. Well, almost 16 years now.

"Yes mom, I love school so much that I wish there was no summer vacation!" I tell her sarcastically.

"But seriously, I don't mind so much that school is starting. Ill get to see people that I haven't seen over summer" I say while putting my glass in the dishwasher.

"Gooooood morning people!" My brother shouts obnoxiously.

"Oh shut up and hurry up, I don't want to be late." I tell him.

"You act like you don't like me but I know deep down inside you that you loooooove me." He says while hugging himself.

"Fuck off Dylan." I told him while splashing water in his face.

" Eva Parks watch your language!" My mom scolds me.

"Pardon me mother, I am truly sorry for my bad behavior." I teased her in a horrible British accent.

"Let's go loser I don't want to be late." My brother told me while grabbing his keys.

"Pfff... I was the one waiting for you first!" I say while getting in his brand new car.

When he turned 16 last May, my parents surprised him with a new car because he had just passed his exam.

Lucky him. I wish I could drive.

I take my phone and scroll down my songs. I tap on Fireside - Arctic Monkeys because honestly, their the best. I really want to see them live.

Me and my brother start singing like idiots and keep laughing the entire ride to school.

After about 10 minutes of driving, we finally see the sign for Bishop Ireton High School. My brother finds a parking spot and we get out of the car.

We walked together inside the building and I noticed a lot of people were looking at me. I gave my brother a weird look for that.

"It's probably cause I'm hot." He laughs but I know he's not kidding.

My brother is not ugly. With his blond hair and his blue eyes. But he's my brother so, there's no way I'm saying he's hot.

"Don't think so." I joke.

"Whatever. So text me so I know if you need a ride back home."

"Sure thing." I tell him before going in the opposite direction.
