Third person POV

"Michel"

Her eyes opened .
Sour eyes.

She looked around.
Darkness.

She touched her surroundings.  Where was she ?

Her hands touched a hard but a soft texture thing.
When she pressed it the room had light.

She saw a fucking nightmare !!!!
That too a scary one.

She looked at the mirror.
She was a sweating mess.

Her eyes red

All she wanted to do was to check whether Michel was safe.

The nightmare felt so true.

It was 3 in the morning.

She quietly walked to two rooms apart . And opened the door slightly.

Mike was asleep.

And what made her still was the tshirt he was hugging which was hers.

She felt guilty then and there for locking them out.

He twisted in his sleep .

Amanda suddenly gasped putting her hand on her mouth.

She closed the door slightly so he wouldn't wake up with the sound

With a heavy heart and a relieved mind she was going back to her room when she heard the front door open.

Who might be here at this hour.

She quickly hid behind the pillar.

The footsteps were nearing.

It was Trey.
He had his top two buttons undone and his blazer on his hand .
He looked so tired.

Why was he so late !?

Suddenly he stopped.

He felt like there was something behind

Amanda stood still at the sudden motion of Trey.

Even though he was her own brother. She couldn't face him now.

He looked through the darkness and found none.

He went to his room

Amanda was just about to move from her hiding position

He again stopped at his door.

And looked to his sister's door.

Amanda felt a pang.

How selfish of her !?

He went inside his room.

And the moment she heard the lock she went to her room.

Her sleep had long way gone.

She took a bath. For a matter of fact she herself realised she stinked

She took her time analyzing things while bathing.

If she was who she was today.
It was because of her brothers.

She had never seen her mom.
How much could an infant child remember after all!?

The three of them had took such good care and the immense love they give had no limits.

And even when dad left them, the house was for sure lonely. But till today we hadn't sat sadly.

And just because of me
My selfishness
All of them are down.
Just because of me
