Chapter 10

Kacey POV-

Today is the day I officially join the Bluemoon pack.

I'm really excited to be apart of a pack that accepts me and doesn't harm me, but i'm also really nervous, I'm not the best with big crowds and there will be over 200 people watching me.

It's about 5 in the afternoon and the ceremony takes place at 7. I decided I will start to get ready so I don't rush myself, something I'm used to doing.

First I'm going to go for a shower, I used my lemon body wash that Alyssa loves for some reason and washed my hair.

Once I was done I went over to the mirror and started to dry my hair and style it, I also tried to go for a more natural makeup look, I haven't been into makeup that much but I decided to give it a try seen as it's a special time.

When I was done I looked at myself in the mirror and was quite happy with myself, I don't look completely terrible.

When I was done I went into the bedroom to find Alyssa sitting down on the bed, "wow you look amazing" I thanked her shyly and hid my face a little.

"Are you ready, we should be heading downstairs now"

"Yeah"

"I'll bring you to the stage, stay near the steps until your called up on stage"

"Okay"

We walked downstairs and through the large wooden double doors.

When we exited inkticed the set up, the stage was massive, it was blue with wolves going up the sides.

(This is the stage, pretend there's wolves going up the side and the people are pack members)

It looked incredible, they obviously take the ceremony very seriously, it's not normal to have a member of another pack join the pack so they must take huge pride in it.

She walked me to the front of the crowd and stood me near the stairs, while she walked up them.

(To make this easier Alyssa will be in bold and Kaceys will be slanted)

"Welcome, to the joining ceremony, it's an honour to have someone joining us today"

Everyone cheered as Alyssa started to talk and start the ceremony.

"Kacey please come up on stage and stand next to me"

I nervously walked up the stairs and walked towards her, she must've noticed how nervous I was because she put a hand on my shoulder and whispered in my ear that everything will be okay.

"Please state you're name, your new rank in the bluemoon pack and the pack you used to be in"

"My full name is Kacey May Artega, my new rank in the bluemoon pack is Luna and my old pack was the risingmoon pack"

When I mentioned my new rank will be Luna Alyssa looked at me lovingly and the rest of the pack gasped and started to whisper.

"As Luna of this pack, you will be respected and loved by everyone and not treated badly, please copy after me"

I nodded and she continued.

"I Kacey May Artega"

"Promise to be loyal to the bluemoon pack, and never harm or kill a pack member"

Once she finished everyone started to cheer and jump around, happy someone joined the pack and happy that they now have a Luna.
