♥︎ At first, things were a bit... awkward. The two of you were quiet, a little shy to say something to one another
♥︎ Until you notice a stall of flowers and bouquets, immediately making your way to the little shop, Ike trying to catch up with your speed (who knew the Summoner was so fast?)
♥︎ When you both arrived, Ike watched as you gazed in awe at all the flowers, eyes filled with excitement— he couldn't help but smile from your enthusiasm, a slight chuckle slipping from his lips
♥︎ After a short while of looking around himself, a good way to use the time spent waiting for you, he noticed that your eyes lingered over a small but beautiful bouquet of scarlet roses, which he admitted were quite lovely
♥︎ But, suddenly, you frowned gloomily upon seeing the price, slowly walking away from the flower shop... ah, that was right. You were short on money after offering to pay for more supplies
♥︎ Not wanting you to be so sad, Ike quickly steps forward, asking for the roses as he reaches into his pocket for a small bag of money of his, looking away in embarrassment when the lady lightly teased him for buying you flowers...
♥︎ Once again, the mercenary catches up with you, holding something behind his back— his strange stance caught your attention. With a raised brow, you asked him what he was hiding...
♥︎ His cheeks burn when he presents you with the roses, his eyes settling on you when he hears you gasp— he didn't want to miss your adorable reaction, that was for sure
♥︎ You happily accept the roses, your face flushed as you hastily kiss him on the cheek, a gift of your own. One he cherished, placing his hand over your kiss like the prized treasure it was
♥︎ The rest of the day is spent participating in the festival hand in hand, a day you and Ike would never forget
