To no one in particular:
I miss you so much, Mom,
But my pride, like yours, won't let me come,
Come and tell you how I always think of you and start to fall apart,
How you tear every piece of my heart,
And the worst being that you're doing perfectly fine,
We haven't spoken in about two months,
But we're both aware that our pride won't let us go on,
It hurts to love you so much,
To have to share you with someone else,
I still don't get it, Mom,
How could you have left us behind?
All for a guy?
I've asked you before, but you can't give me an honest answer,
I don't know what game you're trying to play,
But I will not let you win,
Sometimes I truly want you out of my life,
Like the times when you make me cry,
But I have my doubts,
You've got control over me,
I'm not going to pretend you don't,
But soon, you won't anymore,
I've got a few tricks up my sleeve,
I'm ready to play, so don't leave.
Your lovely Liz
