You ran over to a cave. You went inside and saw sticks. Burnt sticks. A fire! Y/n! The captain came over. 'Okay were close...y/n must've hid from the bear as well....the sticks are cold...we've got some hours to pick up!' You get out of the cave and group up. 'Where next Demi?' "Ummm...." You looked around. Seeing hills. Steep mountainsides. "I would follow the stream." 'Okay let's go!' You follow the stream and whisper to yourself. "I'm coming for you baby....stay strong..."
Y/N POV
You felt like you were walking for days. The sun was setting. You were tired. Hungry. You looked around. 'Y/n......' You turned. You saw. Demi. "Demi? How's this possible?" 'Come with me....' You put your hand out. Demi put hers out. You tripped. You got up and saw nothing. No one there. "Great now I'm going crazy..." you kept walking. It was dark now. You were cold. Tired. Scared. You passed out. You woke up. Still dark. You tried to look around. Pitch black. You could see anything. You didn't move. You felt something in your gut. Someone was out there....or something. You tried to control your breathing. You stayed still. Still trying to look around. You felt like someone was watching you. You heard branches snap. You grabbed a rock and held it in your hand. You slowly stood up. Made no noise. You heard steps coming closer towards you. Step. Step. Step. You heard breathing. But it wasn't from a person. Step......step.....step. Whatever it was. Was close. You threw your rock. You heard whimpering. You grabbed another. And another and another. Throwing as hard as you could as fast as you could. Your adrenaline was pumping. Then. Silence. You sat down. Breathing heavy. You knocked out again. You woke up. The sun was rising. You could barely see. You looked and saw. A wolf. Dead. You were so hungry. You started a small fire. Not trying to draw any other wolves or animals out. You cooked the wolf. You ate the wolf. You gagged a couple of times. You had no choice but to eat as much as your stomach would let you. You got up and drank some water and moved forward. You had some energy. You kept walking. Your arm. Hurt so much. You kept moving. Your ribs. Everything. All you could think about was getting back to Demi. Oh god Demi! What have I put her through! You stopped. "Wait." You stood for about 15 minutes. Your gut. Turned. Not like the wolf meat. Demi. She is calling you. She's coming. You didn't know how or why. But you knew. She was coming. You turned around and walked back from where you came from. You walked. No pain. You pushed through your pain. To give you strength. Demi. That's all that mattered. Nothing else. You were going to make it out. You were going to survive. Demi. You will see her again. You will marry her. Demi......
Demi's POV
You kept walking following the stream. Tyler walked next to you. 'So....y/n...he/she is your fiancé right?' "Yep." You showed him the ring. 'Wow beautiful!' "Yea it's y/n's great grandmothers!" 'Well what a lucky guy/gal!' "Why do you say that?" 'I mean your going out of your pay grade by going on a search and rescue mission to find your fiancé that's amazing....true love' "Yeah well they are my everything I'd do anything for y/n..." 'I hope that one day I could find someone half as committed as you.' "Thank you Tyler and you will." 'Okay we will set up camp here....and continue at first light.' You put your things down and gathered some sticks. The captain made a small fire and handed out some protein bars. You ate and sat down. Your stomach turned. Somethings wrong. Y/n is in trouble. Everyone was asleep. You stood up and as you were about to walk away.....your gut said no. You stood for a moment. And suddenly. Calm. You were confused. You lied back down and stayed awake a little longer. Still calm. "I hope your still fighting baby......I know you are....I'm close....hold on just a bit longer...." you fell asleep. You woke up and got ready. The sun had just rose. 'Where to Demi?' The captain asked. "Keep following the stream...." 'Okay let's go.' About an hour went by. 'Captain!' 'What do you have?' You ran over. "Oh my god!" 'A wolf.' The captain said. "Y/n....." 'y/n must've been starving.' You heard crackling. You turned and saw smoldering fire. "Captain! Look!" He ran over. 'Okay men! We're close! Spread out! Meet back here in an hour!' Your gut twisted into knots. "Y/n....." 'What is it Demi.....demi!' You ran you ran as fast as you could. "Oh my god!........"
