Enough time (13)

Yuriko turns and runs to the bathroom. She slams the door and locks it. Eraser throws his hands in the air. He loves her dearly but sometimes she is so emotional. Little does he know there is a reason, as of lately. The UA teacher heads to work. He says to himself ' will eat lunch with her.'

This day turns into a hectic day of Katsun and Izuku fighting, well Bakugo on one of rage filled homicidal moods as usual. Shouta stops in Yuriko's department to tell her he's sorry. He has brought her a treat.

"Yuriko?"

"Here Shouta..." Yuriko calls from a couch.

Aizawa comes over and kneels down. "Hey what's up? I brought your favorite rice candy..."

"Thanks Sho. I'm just really tired. Can we talk tonight?"

"I'm sorry for yelling at you. I have no right to yell at my beautiful Lily. I don't know what I would do without you."

"I love you more than life itself. You are my heaven and earth." Yuriko says with a loving smile.

"Do you work tonight?" Aizawa asks.

"No Sho... I have been feeling kinda off the last day or two. My coworkers want me to stay home tonight. I will too but the love of my life is keeping the city safe and I understand."

"Do you still want to talk?" the underground hero inquires.

"Please, even just hear your voice for a few minutes."

Shouta kisses Yuriko on the cheek and waves goodbye. Eraserhead finds his night even longer than his day. It is almost 4 a.m in the morning and Yuriko is sleeping but restless. Shouta strips and curls Yuriko up in his arms, enjoying the bar skin to skin contact from both of them being nude. As he falls asleep he notices his thin Yuriko has put a little weight on her butt and thighs.

The alarm goes off at 7:30 a.m. and Aizawa groans. He doesn't want to go to work. He pats the bed and finds Yuriko in the bathroom, throwing up. It's a terrible sound coming from anybody, all the worse from his Lily.

"Lily, did you eat something that gave you food poisoning?"he asks with concern.

"Stress...I'm going to stay home today. I don't feel good."

"Mmm, I will stop by between school and my patrol to check on you." Shouta kisses her forehead.

"Your lunch is in the fridge..."

"I don't know what I would do without you Lily." Shouta whispers.

"I love you more than life itself. You are my heaven and earth."

At lunchtime Shouta checks his phone to see he has two texts and three missed calls. He checks the texts, both are from Yuriko. One has an attachment that reads 'you need to see' and the other is how much she loves him. Aizawa doesn't open the attachment. Just another wedding question he grumbles.

The first phone call is Yuriko calling to hear his voice. The second number is his soon to be mother-in-law. The final number he doesn't recognize, so he erases it. Nezu needs a new student to be accessed and grades done. He looks at the clock and sighs. He was supposed to stop and check on Yuriko. Shouta calls Yuriko but it goes straight to voice mail. Unusual but not something to worry about he thinks.

Eraser locks his room and starts down the school hall. Hizashi walks up quickly and says " Shouta I need you to take a breath..."

"Why? Yuriko put you up to a wedding joke?"" he smirks.

"Yuriko is in the hospital. I need to get you there now." Hizashi says as calm as he can for his friend. "She's pretty sick."

Toshinori and Kayama are standing in a waiting room. A nurse comes around the station to stop Shouta. Toshi goes to assist holding Shouta from getting to Yuriko's room.
