Enough time (13)

The next day the underground hero manages to leave work early to purchase the engagement ring. Shouta cons his friend Hizashi and Kayama to keep order with his students for the weekend. Most would be going home to visit their family.

He wants to get her something with meaning but simple and able to wear while working. It was short planning, especially for Mister Logical but his gut tells him it is time. Now or ever. He comes across a set of his and her rings that incorporate a love knot design. His would be a band with the knot design around the band. Hers is crafted with the knot part of the ring with stones. Shouta hadn't expected to find something with an unconventional but meaningful symbol to them. It represents being bound together in love and a few other things. That would be for a week long trip, on their honeymoon list of to do's: Kinbaku.

Shouta now was nervous. Time to set up the dinner, to ask her hand in marriage. The underground hero chooses Tokyo Shiba Tofuya Ukai. It was a small restaurant with a garden that serves traditional Japanese food.

"Shouta where are we going?"

"It's a surprise Yuriko. Can't I spoil you once in a great while?"

"Of course! I love you more than life itself. You are my heaven and earth." Yuriko says with a loving smile.

I don't know what I would do without you." Shouta replies.

Aizawa drives into the Shiba Tofuya Ukai. Yuriko looks at the place with large doe eyes. "Oh Sho! You really are going all out!"

The couple are seated. "Lily, order anything you like."

"Aizawa Shouta you are up to something..." Yuriko playfully scolds him.

"Mmm, it's been awhile, so of course up for something..." he replied with his best 'oh I have plans for you' look.

"That's not what I meant! Yes it has been far too long, so the long weekend?"

The couple eat and talk about plans in the future like getting married, jobs and maybe a child. Shouta orders desert and two forks brought. Yuriko gives her boyfriend a strange look and wonders what he is up to. The waiter returns with her favorite dessert...lemon velvet cake. The two forks have the engagement ring around them.

Shouta bows "Saito, Yuriko will you honor me with your hand in marriage?"

Yuriko stands and bows "You had but to ask Aizawa, Shouta. The answer can only be Hai!"

Aizawa places the engagement ring on her finger. Yuriko asks Shouta to wear his ring on his right finger then when they are married, switch the band to his left. He honors her wish.

The weekend is both romantic and spiritual. Shouta and Yuriko perform Kinbaku. Both feel an even stronger bond among each other. Little did the beautiful couple know life changes in a blink of an eye and Eraserhead, of all heroes should have remembered this...

The couple struggle with work schedules and emergency situations. Yuriko is left to plan every detail of the wedding. At first she would text Shouta choices for the wedding but after he told her to just decide for the both of them, she stopped texting at all. Eraser secretly was relieved. No more silly texts and no more stress about the wedding.

At two months before the big month Yuriko and Shouta get into a terrible argument. The last two days the weather is cold and wet. Shouta had a cough and felt warm to the touch.

"Sho! You need to get some sleep! You're getting sick! "

"Will you stop fucking worrying! Just focus on your work and the wedding!" Aizawa yells which is not like him.
