We get out of Mitch's car, and I am lifted off of my feet. I laugh, and I can practically feel Mitch's smile. He carries me across the railroad tracks, and into a little grassy area in front of Town Hall. The New Orleans-style lamps cast a hazy glow on the grass, and he carries me to a small pavillion strung with small Christmas lights.

"It's so peaceful here," I say, looking around.

"Yeah, I come here whenever I need to think," Mitch smiles. "Or, in rare cases, chat with a pretty girl."

I laugh, and we sit on a bench in the pavillion.

We sit there in scilence for a while, me snuggled up to Mitch, occasionally glancing at each other and blushing.

"You look so beautiful, do you know that?" Mitch smiles.

I blush, and look down at the ground. "I do not," I say.

"Yes, you do." he smiles, and lifts my chin up with three fingers. We lean in, and when our lips connect, sparks fly.

"I-I think I love you," I stutter.

"I think I do, too." Mitch says.
